Can not recommend Dave highly enough. I had been shooting for many years to a reasonable level but his coaching completely transformed my approach, technique and consistently. Although my focus with him was originally competition skeet he has the versatility and depth of experience to have also been a great help with my sporting and game shooting.As someone who has competed at world class level his coaching goes way beyond just how to point a gun in the right direction and he has given me advice in other critical areas such as gun fit, eyesight, diet and metal approach to competitionWhatever your level I can confidently predict that coaching from Dave will significantly improve your scorecards and enjoyment of the sport

I cannot recommend Dave highly enough. Having received my SGC this year in May, I have been totally enamoured with the sport but sometimes not fully getting what I was doing wrong and feeling frustrated.Dave took me back to the fundamentals right down to mount and fit. Really working hard on my bad habits.The very next lesson we were on targets looking at the 'picture' and pre shot routine. It was all starting to make sense and the clays became dust. This last session was the most positive experience to date I've had with the sport.If you are serious about improving in the sport, whether you are a novice or professional. I cannot recommend anyone other that Dave!Looking forward to the next lesson already!

A brilliant Sim day, with excellent clay presentations and all walking distance. Hospitality was great- a real abundance of food and drink and a particular thanks for the great effort on food for my vegan shooting partner.

I chose David to host my corporate day - David and his team provided a first class shooting experience. We were all novices and new to the shooting world but this wasn’t a problem for David.We were looked after brilliantly all day - My team & clients thoroughly enjoyed themselves.It was a incredibly professional set up with great hospitality.We have already booked again for next year!

After hitting a flat spot in my shooting I looked to David for professional help. I think its safe to say that David Beardsmore's name goes before all of his outstanding achievements. First, David assessed my gun fit and my gun mount before we progressed. Not only has David taught me a new style of shooting he has taught me a range of new techniques ranging from target distance, target reading, and methods. I soon saw a big improvement in my shooting, seeing my scores increase, also keeping very consistent scores. No doubt this has been the best move forward for me, I would and always highly recommend David for all his expertise. I started shooting 12 months ago after a day out with friends and enjoyed the day and decided to have lessons to help me as I wanted to improve as quick as possible. I came across Dave at Dove ridge Shooting ground and have had approximately 2 lessons a month since on the skeet range. My shooting has vastly improved and I feel I am close to achieving my initial goals now. Dave has also taught me about game shooting which has also been valuable. Dave is very detailed in all aspects of coaching and will improve the art of shooting for most of his students who put the time and effort in and I cant recommend him highly enough.

Went for a days shooting at Soddington Hall kindly organised by David. I took a good friend and we were both very well received and catered for. The day was beautifully set in great rolling hills and all of the other guns were great folk. really made the day. The bag was met and the day was finished with a cracking meal in a local pub. Definitely worth the 3 hour drive.Thank you David, once I've saved some pennies I'd happily go back.James

As a complete novice to shooting I went to Dave Beardsmore to get me started. I wasn’t sure he would be the right coach for me as he is a World Champion, and I thought he would only be coaching more professional shots.I couldn’t have been more wrong, he is perfect. His knowledge, patience and instruction on how and why you use different technics for different presentation of targets makes so much sense. Once you have the knowledge, which Dave has in abundance and is very happy to share, the clays will start to break consistently.I come away from each lesson building my own bank of site pictures to use in the future. I have been coached by David since 2016. This team of Professionals are forever developing the next best drive ever striving for better experiences and boy have they pulled it off , the flights of these birds need every effort of concentration , they will test your skill , the reward is your personal gratification , If you get the opportunity don't hesitate to give these drives a go , if like me you enjoy the sport to such a degree then these estates and Dave's teams give you the ultimate game day. Winning the merit of best shoots in West Midlands , he and his team are certainly contenders for best shoot in the UK , I challenge anyone to disagree ! What a day we had ! go for it !
