I cannot recommend Elisa at The Bridal Pixie enough! She did an absolutely fantastic job with my dress alterations (taking my dress in two sizes) and made me feel so comfortable during our appointments, even helping me choose a sparkly veil that complimented my dress. Her advice was also invaluable in relation to little tricks that would help with wearing my dress on the day. My mum was also worried about transporting my wedding dress crease-free to the venue on the day, so Elisa offered her dressing service for the morning of our wedding at South Farm to help with this. I am so pleased that we did use this service from Elisa. She steamed my wedding dress, the bridesmaids' dresses (which were a difficult material to iron) and our robes very quickly on the morning of the wedding and they were all perfect. Elisa also helped me with my dress and stayed right up until I walked down the aisle to make sure it was looking its absolute best. It took any stress that we might have had with getting ready in the morning and made sure that we all had a great start to the day. I can honestly say that asking Elisa to be part of our wedding morning was one of the best decisions that we made!

10/10. Elisa absolutely saved my dress for me. After my first seamstress absolutely wrecked my dress, I phoned Elisa up, she booked me in the next week and honestly made me fall in love with my dress all over again. She is an absolute magician, and I walked out her shop feeling so relieved. Without Elisa I wouldn’t have had a wedding dress!She is the woman to go too. You definitely will not regret it.

Elisa is your real life Fairy Godmother for your wedding dress. I am so grateful I had Elisa doing my alterations. From the minute you step through the doors, Elisa provides the most amazing service. She takes you through every step and no question is too stupid. For so many people, the whole process is a complete unknown, but I never for once felt overwhelmed - she dealt with my over-emotional mother like a pro! We even took into account how my body changes depending on where I was going to be in my cycle come my wedding day to make sure the dress fit perfectly. I cannot thank Elisa enough - she is amazing!

I was recommended The Bridal Pixie by Morgan Davies Bridal shop in Hitchin. Elisa did an incredible job altering my dress, I really enjoyed the experience of going to meet with her and talk about what needed doing. She transformed my dress to fit me perfectly and I would highly recommend her to anybody, their in very safe hands!

I went to The Bridal Pixie knowing my dress would be quite a lot of work, especially as I had lost a lot of weight since purchasing it and there was lots of intricate lace. Amongst other issues that Elisa skilfully corrected, my main concern was that my dress displayed too much cleavage, which Elisa fixed by adding lace from other areas of the dress to close the gap on my chest. It was beautiful and looked so natural. Elisa is a master in her own field and someone who made me feel comfortable right from the start. Elisa listened to my vision and I can not thank her enough for her patience, her skill and her genuinely warm personality. With Bridal Pixie, rest assured your dress is in safe hands!100% recommend.

Would definitely recommend Elsa for wedding dress alterations. I'd bought my dress elsewhere and needed alternations for it to fit properly. Everything was explained really well, as I had no idea about bustles etc, I also bought a belt and veil which were beautiful and exactly what I'd been looking for!

I was recommended The Bridal Pixie by the shop where I bought my wedding dress and I couldn't be happier with the recommendation.We initially had a phone convo to book the appointments close to the wedding and it was supposed to be a very simple fix except it wasn't.During the 8 months between buying the dress and trying it on again I got a bit bigger which meant I didn't fit in the dress anymore.There were moments of panic on my side ahah thinking that was that, the wedding ruined, but after speaking with Elisa we both came up with a plan to get the dress to fit me. All her encouraging words and patience were so welcome she made that first appointment with her the best one by being so reassuring when I genuinely thought the world was coming crashing down just because of the dress.Fast forward to when I went to try my dress the final time: the dress fit, it was even more comfortable to wear than when I first tried it at the shop, it looked like it was made for me and I felt beautiful in it.So thank you Eliza. You made it possible to wear the dress of my dreams ahahAlso the shop itself is so cute and lovely and it's a nice space to be in.

Elisa is amazing! From my first fitting I knew I was in good hands. Elisa is so knowledgable and creative. I had some issues with the bridal shop I bought my dress from, but Eliza was so reassuring and made the process feel less stressful, even when it wasn’t her mistake. My dress fit better than perfectly, and all the little touches were really sweet. I will forever recommend The Bridal Pixie for any brides I know!
