Had a stall at a craft fayre last weekend, it is a beautiful hall with stunning grounds surrounded by a moat. It is a place of calm and tranquility a place you must visit.

Beautiful! Packed with history, tour guides very knowledgeable. Peaceful gardens although not huge. Probably not suitable for small children. Great cafe, not much inside space but plenty of outside seating if weather good! Definitely worth a visit.

This truly was an eye-opening tour of this wonderful building. The gardens, the staff and the cafe are all fantastic. In the area, this is a must. Plenty of parking. It'll take about 1 1/2 hours to get around. It is full of interesting stories, nocks and cranies and beautiful architecture. The staff really do go all out to help. They make the day.

An amazing place to visit. Our guild Wendy was so nice and knowledgeable she made the experience even better. It has the most priest holes then any other house I have been to. To day they had a reenactment, the costume were great and the guns and canon were loud and amazing. It cost £12 to enter, it's not national trust but I was happy to pay it. I would recommend a visit and will go back with my grandkids

This is certainly an interesting building, with plenty of secrets to keep.We took a guided tour of the building, the guide was interesting and engaging and provided lots of historical detail and context, the house had been a Catholic owned house since Elizabethan times and had been a sanctuary for Priests, it is still owned by the Catholic Church. There are lots of hidden secret Priest holes of various different types, and rooms used by priests who were in England illegally and there are links to the Gunpowder Plot.It really is a very interesting place to visit especially especially for anyone interested in Elizabethan and Cromwellian history.Do take a guided tour as you will get to appreciate the complexity of the construction of the building and some of the subtleties of the decoration and fittings. There is a cracking wee cafe that is very busy and provides really nice food and beverages. The staff are friendly and professional, there is pretty good car parking and the toilets are pretty clean and fresh.

Fascinating visit to Harvington Hall after finding it on Google during a visit to the Midlands. We booked and paid for a weekday tour in advance (a few hours before we visited). Our tour guide volunteer John Hatton made the visit absolutely fascinating and brought the house to life for us by being very knowledgably, friendly and enthusiastic. We were shown the various priest hides inside the building. I had seen some of them on TV before but didn't know it was Harvington Hall that featured in the programmes I'd seen so it was a great surprise. We also had coffee and cakes in the garden which was really good (although the café staff need to be better at clearing the tables after previous customers). Make sure you book your tour in advance as we were told by a volunteer at the entrance that many people just turn up and end up disappointed to find the day fully booked. Our tour was around 1.25 hours. I'm not usually a fan of viewing old buildings but this grabbed my interest mainly due to the tour guide and the opportunity to squeeze into a priest hide.

Great place for a family catch up with multiple generations... not too far for the olds to walk from the car park, ducks for the kids to feed.Coffee in the coffee shop underwhelming but the food quality was excellent. We didn't go in the house as there were too many of us to wrangle up and down stairs, but it looked worthwhile. We were able to have a nosey in the hidden Chapel tho, without paying the ticket price.

Loved our visit and the tour guide we had had stepped in last minute. There was just my self and my 6 year old grandson and another lady in our tour . My grandson loved it and all the hiding places. Last time I visited was in a school trip so a long time ago.!!!! Now I got to share this place with my grandson We may even be coming to the Christmas event .
