The Cú Chulainn Coaster

Agree with other posters that this is the best attraction in Emerald Park. The sheer drops provided an adrenaline rush like no other, and the forces as we sped through the track were nothing short of exhilarating. A must-ride for any thrill-seeker visiting the park! Despite being really popular I found the queue moved relatively quickly.

Thrilling high speed enormous wooden roller coaster. The best wooden roller coaster I have ridden. Gripping from start to finish. I'd recommend sitting towards the back to maximize the impact of going over the first drop. Those at the front get slowly lowered over the top before being released. This is good as you seem to be suspended almost vertically before being let go. On the other hand if you sit towards the back you have the sensation of being pulled quickly over the top and down in one swift action that I found to be the most exciting.

One of the best roller coasters I have been on. The speed is frightening and the noise of the wooden coaster all add up to a memorable experience. Overall Emerald Park is fantastic, great rides friendly staff who are very health and safety conscious, was very impressed with their safety checks on every ride and there are plenty of rides. I highly recommend a visit whether you are a tourist or live here. 7 stars

Great fun. So scary and so high. It feels like free falling 31m on a chair.

Without a doubt the best ride at the park, and a truly great wooden coaster - up there with Woden and Balder as one of my favourites in Europe

This is a great new wooden roller coaster! As a coaster lover it made me so happy to get to ride this beauty while visiting Ireland. This is a must ride for anyone who loves roller coasters!

This by far the best ride in emerald park ( formally tayto park) and I would deff recommend it!

Eight of my friends went on it an hour to wait was annoying but so fun at the age of seven years old some of my friends who went on it are eight it was scary and me and my friends loved it went Monday 26th of June
