Great local place to run radio controlled boats! Can become a bit weed-clogged in summer. Lovely canalside walks for games and dogs, and good connections for runners also

Lovely walk, especially if you don't want to stray too far from home. You can walk miles up the canal or wonder around the park.

What a disappointment! A really interesting and exciting place, allowed to go to seed. Cruised 4 hours to visit this place. Shan't be making that mistake again. Unkempt grass, exploding bins, rubbish everywhere, and the most god awful smell. CRT sort it out!

Amazing journey in our narrowboat across the tidal Rivers Douglas and Ribble to reach the Ribble Millennium Link to get up onto the Lancaster Canal. CRT staff and volunteers were so helpful and friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience!
