The service felt very personal, we got to know them very well and built a brilliant rapport. They were very proactive in arranging viewings, and could tell that they genuinely wanted to help us in the sale of our previous house and purchase of new one. Have been refused 90% of flats we wished to view due to claiming universal credit. I have only been out of work for a couple of years due to disability but my partner works full time and the two incomes combined are way above the requirement. Therefore, this practice is purely discriminatory. Only one other agency has done this to us (once!). We have researched into this and found out that agencies should be refusing landlords who discriminate against those on benefits as it has been ruled unlawful by a judge in 2020. Somehow Property Cafe takes landlords wishes as a priority above tenants’ rights and will happily discriminate against disabled people. 100% the worst agency I have ever dealt with and I advise you to steer clear of them. Megan Curtis was by far the biggest culprit of this and was also extremely rude and dismissive of us once she knew it was us who was enquiring. She only offered us one viewing after we mentioned that is unlawful to be practicing this.

When my tenancy was coming to an end, I received 1 phone call asking my availability for viewings to which I told Lisa at Property Cafe and she then turned up without prior notice. When I mentioned I wasn't made aware of the viewing, I got told But you said you were home from this time?" I didn't realise that was the equivalent to notice??? Lisa was also very bad at communicating on the phone as if she was startled that tenants aren't home all day

I brought my first home through Property Cafe. Everyone there was really helpful. I was shown the property by Michele for my first viewing, Michele then dealt with everything from that point up to moving in. I spoke to Dominic a few times too who was really helpful. Michele answered all my questions throughout the process and was genuinely keen for the sale helping me throughout the negotiating process which thankfully only took a few days, this was largely due to Michele communicating honestly with me and the seller in which we met in the middle. Michele contacted my solicitors to ensure the sale went through efficiently. I am really impressed with Property Cafe, I would highly recommend them, they take a lot of the stress of buying a home off you. Whenever I decide to move in the future I will definitely use Property Cafe to sell.

Danielle has been extremely helpful and attentive throughout our process securing a property with them. She was very quick to reply to emails regarding any questions or concerns we had. We cannot thank you enough
