Oxford Island Nature Reserve
Just off the M1 near Belfast. Ample parking and a visitor centre sadly the cafe overlooking the lough wasn't open on my visit but it looks a great spot.Pleasing walk with lots of wildlife to photograph. The birds are pretty tame, I suspect they are fed by visitors. Spotlessly clean toilets always a pleasent surprise.

Oxford Island Nature Reserve
Great reserve with walking trails, a marina and a cafe at the visitor center. It is beautiful and the walking trails along the lake make it a welcome retreat. The one boat ramp is closed and inoperable. Take your time and walk around and enjoy nature. It was windy when we enjoyed it but the weather was sunny and beautiful. Picnic tables and barbecue area for all to enjoy!

Oxford Island Nature Reserve
Such a beautiful place on the shore or loch neach. They have free parking, a huge play area, lovely walks a cafe, public loos and an information centre. It was fantastic seeing the birds, rabbits and other wildlife and it was so tranquil. Definitely worth a visit to take in the UK's largest lake.
