Tendring Pet Cremation
I can highly recommend Tendring Pet Cremation. It’s never easy saying goodbye to a beloved pet but the way Mark and Calum dealt with us from start to finish made it that little bit more bearable. From that first phone call where Mark patiently and sensitively explained the different options to the last visit where we picked up the ashes in a scatter tube to find that Calum had taken the time to align the photo… All was done with impeccable attention to detail.I really wish we’d known about Tendring Pet Cremation many years ago when Scruffy was sadly killed by a driver that did not stop. Not only were we told to leave Scruffy by the wheelie bin at Haven Vets but we were not made aware that the cremation (if she indeed made it there) may take some time so she might be kept in the freezer for a while and would be shipped off to a larger crematorium. We were so traumatised at the time we didn’t even think to ask for the ashes back. Not only did Tendring Pet Cremations offer the ashes, but they also offered paw prints and fur clippings which is a really nice touch. The final carefully planned detail was a beautiful card and poem that we were given when picking up the ashes. It really did make me smile and cry at the same time! When the time sadly comes for my other pets, I will not go anywhere else.I truly hope this business goes from strength to strength as it’s clearly not just a business for Mark and Calum. They’ve used their own painful experiences to deliver a much better service for others. From Ann and Roger (parents to Monty and Grace).

Loosing a beloved pet and companion is not an experience any of us would feel good about, but it is good to know that we gave our wonderful Sage the best life we could have, filled with wellbeing, love, joy and excitement; a life he lived to the absolute full until the end. When it was time to say goodbye to Sage’s mortal remains, we called Mark and from the very first word he was full of compassion, support and professionalism. The whole service was amazing from start to finish and he made us feel at ease and very much softened the loss for us.I sincerely hope you don’t loose your pet, but if you do, you couldn’t find a safer pair if hands than Mark’s.If Mark ever starts dealing with human ‘clients’ , I’m getting on the list !Thank you Mark sincerely

I cannot thank Mark and his colleague enough for their care and compassion, after we had to say goodbye to our beloved cat, Pebbles. We brought him to Tendring Pet Cremations after we had left the vets and from the moment we arrived the compassion shone through. We were able to collect Pebbles' ashes the next day in a beautiful casket which now has pride of place in our lounge. We will definitely turn to Mark when the time comes for us to say goodbye to our remaining elderly cat.Thank you once again, Mark

What a truly 5* treatment we had when we had to say goodbye to our much loved Westie Poppy! Mark was very caring and empathetic and we got Poppy’s ashes back in a beautiful bluebell tube ready for scattering where her favourite walk was with her paw print with space for a photo with itVery highly recommend and will definitely pass on our experience to my ‘doggy’ parent friends!

Having had the shattering news we had to let our beloved Lulu go, I contacted Tendring Pet Cremations and Mark answered the phone. From the first moment he had the utmost compassion, sympathy and put any worries we had at ease. Our vet allowed us a week with Lulu before we had to let her go, so Mark booked us in and accommodated us immediately after we left the vets. When we arrived we were allowed to carry Lulu into the rest room and placed her on the bed. Mark then sat with us, completed the formalities of the cremation and then left us alone to say our final goodbyes to Lulu.We were able to collect Lulu's ashes the very next day, in a lovely casket, candle and scatter tube so everyone who loved Lulu could enjoy her. We also had 2 beautiful paw prints cast which came in a lovely presentation box.I cannot recommend highly enough, Mark and his team for everything they did, not only for us, but for making Lulu's last journey a beautiful one.

Tendring Pet Cremation made a truly awful day so much more bearable. The kindness and compassion shown to us and our precious little old lady was outstanding. The reassurance of knowing that our beloved dog was being looked after with so much care and thoughtfulness has made today so much better. Thank you for you kindness.

Can’t fault the service provided by Mark and Callum. We trusted them to return our beloved Max’s ashes to us and they did that with compassion and professionalism. The whole process of delivering our beautiful boy into their care to the return of his ashes was done in 24 hrs. We highly recommend them to anyone who wants a guaranteed individual cremation of their pet. Many thanks . Theresa ( Tredget )

After 15years my daughters dog poppie passed away while sleeping.Heartbreakingly my daughter just couldnt make the arrangements.I rang and spoke to Mark, a lovely gentleman, very considerate of how we were feeling.I had to ring back a couple of times because i just couldn't remember what he had told me,mark was very understanding.Upon getting there he was extremely courteous of my daughters feelings from the start. She said her goodbyes and later that day had a phone call to go back the next day to pick poppie up .When they arrived poppie was in a scatter tube ,and some of her fur was in a little bag with a purple ribbon ,and a paw print in a lovely box .Extremely professional service from start to finish .Thankyou Mark .
