We had our first delivery of logs a few days ago they arrived promptly at the time they said they would and stacked the logs beautifully in my wood shed, ensuring that it was left clean and tidy. The wood itself is dry and burns extremely well. I’m thoroughly impressed by their service and will use them again when we run out.

Had another delivery of logs today as normal great dry logs and great service would recommend downing logs every time.

Used Downing Logs for our 2022/23 load which was our first as we had recently had a log burner installed. James was very helpful in advising the best wood for us, and giving us advice about how to get the best from it as we were pretty clueless!The wood we had last year was excellent- really dry and burned really well. I did ring around some other suppliers prior to ordering this years supply - but the fact James was able to supply purely ash again, in a load size to exactly meet our needs along with his friendly customer service and very fast delivery meant that we have returned again. We can highly recommend Downing Logs, excellent quality product and great to support a local firm.

I was unsure on which logs to go for, so contacted James and was pleased with his quick and clear advice. I ordered the medium load, which was delivered promptly and on a day I was free. Fantastic kiln dried ash cut to size to fit my small burner. The attached log store pic shows the beautiful (newer lighter) ash logs and I had more leftover to fill my secondary store. Will definitely buy from Downing Logs again.
