Electric Security Gates Yorkshire gave us a very fair quotation for a pair of entrance gates. The installation was completed on time and Ian also kindly helped us with a recommendation for garage shutter doors.We did have a problem after a couple of years, and after an initial communication error, Ian came very quickly and sorted out the problem for us.I run a local business myself and therefore like to use similar local contractors. Knowing that help is so near at hand is a big bonus.

Ian has done a very good installation job. Also went out of the way to help getting the right kind of gate we wanted. Would recommend for sure.

This husband and wife team installed my gates 4 years ago, a temporary fix was made for the electrics. They were going to come back to fix it and never did. No mention was made of a maintenance contract at any time. My gates are now broken and they are refusing to have anything to do with it. The after sevice has been apalling. I was given a two days last week when they would visit but they just did not turn up - no reason given. Now they are saying they are too far away (40 miles) and to go to a larger company.Whatever happened to after-sales service? The excuse is it was so long ago, but we understood they would come back, they never did.My feeling is unless you live on their doorstep you will not see them again after installation.

We used Ian a few years back to install an electric gate.The gate itself has been very substantial and good value for money.Electrical Security Gates returned to us today to add additional fobs we requested. Some unexpected work was required upon arrival but Ian did it without any problems and at no additional cost.We received good quality fobs and extras free of charge.Great service from him and friendly guy with good customer service.Thank you and I would definitely recommend Ian and Electrical Security Gates Yorkshire :)
