Very good! It's quite small, but it's worth a visit. The cafe is very well priced (Cornetto ice creams for 75p, other places charge £2.50!). The gift shop has a decent variety of stock, with good pricing. The bus open day was great, my children loved riding on the double decker buses!

Visited on a bank holiday, it was open. Had fun using the antique self-play piano. Also, other featured items had excellently written, precise descriptions. I loved every minute I spent in the museum.

One of my favourite places in Wellingborough to while away some time in. Always something new to see in here. It's highly educational for the younger generations who maybe want to learn about the history of Wellingborough and the Nene Valley, from the Roman era 2000yrs ago to the industrial revolution and the Victorian era. It has a fabulous model train layout that is interactional with steam trains and diesels. Has an outdoor play area for the kids with a grass area for picnics and BBQ's. Come and have a look, I promise you won't be disappointed. Admission is free although donations are greatfully accepted.

Fantastic free attraction and so many cheap things in the gift shop for children . Although the cafe is limited to tea coffee and cakes it was still very cheap .and the tea was lovely .

Lovely little free museum, showing some amazing artifacts! My kids loved the dragon slide from the 70s that they could play in. Old arcade games to try your hand at, and win prizes!Fab little gift shop too

The museum is a great place to go to learn about history. Great for children to interact. Plenty to see on both floors and also has a shop where you can buy souvenirs, toys, ice creams/tea/coffee. Friendly staff and lovely grounds.
