My wife and I found the workshop by accident when visiting NMF. Chris and his colleague were so welcoming that my wife decided to take up the bauble glass blowing offering. This was great fun and an excellent experience with Chris explaining everything so well and being patient, including with the children from another family that were also there at the time. We ended up with an amazing glass bauble made by my wife’s hands (with a little help). Thank you!

I bought this as a present for my Wife for her Birthday/ Christmas present. It far exceeded our expectations. Being a fan of blown away we wanted to experience what it would be like. Chris was an amazing teacher who was very friendly and very patient. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to try something new. In total my wife was able to make bowls, vases and a paper weight which are now on display in our home. We are looking forward to returning soon.

Visited for bauble blowing with my children. We all had a go. Chris is an excellent teacher, calm and patient. He takes time to explain not just the how but the why of working with glass. We took away some lovely baubles after the children had added their feathers. The studio itself is filled with lots of beautifully made pieces - I couldn't resist buying my very own little penguin - so cute!

My husband received this glass blowing experience as a gift from our children. He just loved it! It was so professionally managed and executed. He made 4 items during the morning including a beautiful paper weight, a couple if sample vases and a little bowl.

I had a 3 hour glass blowing experience today with Chris. I booked it only 2 days ago, online through their website. It was really easy to do.The experience was more than I could of hoped for.I was fortunate to have a session on my own which was a real privilege. Chris talked me through the process, step by step, then demonstrated, then led me through doing it. He could not have been more patient or considerate. This was the best present ever, I had no idea what to expect and we had so much fun. Chris and Steve were welcoming and really knowledgeable, they taught us a lot about the glass process and allowed us to work independently taking great care of our safety. My girlfriend and I came down from Scotland to do a half day course with Chris who was assisted on the day by Alison and Steve. What a top guy he is, the course was amazing itself and we now have such an appreciation of what goes into making these glass pieces. We may some vases, bowls and a bauble each which all came out amazing. Chris is patient, explains things well and we had such a great day with amazing people. There is a great little shop to buy things (not that you won’t make amazing things yourself.) The setting is also amazing, great farm shop, great cafe and we’d highly recommend anyone to do this
