Rapid Racking Ltd

Had a problem with a recent order where some components wern't delivered. Once brought to attention of customer services dept, was resolved quickly, efficiently and without fuss. All racking easy to assemble (see videos on website) and now doing the job they are designed for. Would use again

Given 3 delivery dates in one Week initially, didn't turn up on the one we eventually agreed on. I called that day to ask if my order was indeed on its way as I had to make arrangements for someone to meet the driver.- an employee told me they wasn't actually sure what was happening with my order, and it appeared to not have even been packed on their system. They promised to call me back before the day was over to update me. - Never heard from them again.Next week,receive an email to confirm my delivery is booked in for Friday. Again i make arrangements to suit this. When does my delivery actually turn up? Wednesday.No communication and no organisation.The racking its self is okay hence 2 stars, but certainly nothing to reccomend to anyone looking for shelving.Won't be purchasing from here again, what a faff.

Damaged Racking delivered, took weeks to receive replacements, also minor scratching. Replacement pieces wrong, originals came bent, so cannot construct racking and further email sent. Considering the company is called Rapid Racking, it is neither of those things... we cannot recommend them. AVOID.

I've been using rapid racking for the last 15 years and always had excellent service. The products arrive well wrapped, a little too well wrapped sometimes, and in good order. The shelving is well made and stands the test of time in the environment we need it for.I have just placed my latest order and spoke to Yasmin in customer services whom was excellent :)Keep up the good work guys and you'll always get my business.

This is a clear example of professionalism, we ordered a product, from various possibilities has arrived damaged, we called and we been greeted by this lovely gentleman that solved our issue , promptly and professionally , ensuring a replacement .Not only that he delivered the product on time he also called back ensuring that the second product arrived ok , is part of a wonderful customer service.Thank you!

Ordered some garment racking which arrived in a very shoddy state, with the parts all falling off the pallet as the packaging was so inadequate. This was the fault of the materials used, rather than the delivery itself.One of the poles had some minor damage as the plastic end cap had split off. Miracle there seemed to be no actual parts missing.But on top of that, far from being rapid racking, the shelving was poorly designed with it being extremely difficult to slot any of the brackets into the uprights. The nodules were too big for the holes and it took an enormous amount of hammering to get them just to the point where you felt they were secure enough. Often banging another bracket in, would knock a previous one out. Given it is a basic industrial design, I fail to see how it can be so badly manufactured.Now it is finally erected, I can give it two stars, but the above should be looked into as should not be hard to improve on both counts.

Budget racking........... I bought 3 bays, if I work from now till Christmas I might get them built, every slot has to be widened with a screwdriver to take the tabs, although you can bend them with your fingers to help them fit. Assembly is very time-consuming. The finish is OK, no rough edges and to be honest the finished result seems quite strong, not bad for the price, and at least they didn't charge £70 to deliver them like one of their competitors wanted to.

I had a significant issue that took a week to resolve, but it was resolved, and it was expertly handled by Lucy and Jonathan (MD of the business).Having lost a payment from me, it was tricky for about 5 working days and then Lucy stepped in and resolved and went over and above to make things right.This is how to run a business, and maintain loyalty and confidence. I have no hesitation in recommending the business as the product is excellent, the shipping also via DX or other expert shippers, and when they get things wrong, they step on it ...Bravo Lucy R and Robin for your patience and getting the basics right when its necessary.Thank you

Ordered a small parts drawer cabinet which was badly damaged on arrival. They collected the damaged unit then delivered THE SAME DAMAGED UNIT back to me a week later. A lot of time wasted so far.. hopefully they will resolve this quickly.
