Salon Ten

When you are told you have Cancer it is devasting and knowing you might lose hair is scarey. I chose this salon because it was local and I had read supposedly good reviews. My experience was so poor and if I had not had my own very positive approach, the experience via this salon would have left me devastated.I was greeted by a young lady who was to be my guide, not by my name but as 'lovlie' and this continued till I left. I had hoped for support and guidance and that came from myself and husband who had gone with me. The room we were taken to was dark and dingy , with little daylight and very poor electrical fittings. The mirror you sit in front of has a distortion, which for me changed my face shape. There was very little choice offered and certainly no guidance given. Wigs I had shown to me made me look older than I actually am and very little near to my own style or even colour.The young lady clearly had very limited knowledge or experience to guide. One of the worst things we realised was that we had a very limited time to this appointment as she constantly checked her watch informing us we had 5 minutes left. A terrible service and I strongly recommend to others in a similar situation they visit better settings where people are trained and skilled. .I have since gone to another organisation far superior to this one and been given super guidance and information. Consider The Hamar Centre first as a wig service visits there.

Wonderful experience at this beautiful hair salon with Nicky and her team. Everyone was friendly and polite, salon was spotless and my hair is the best it's ever looked. Thank you Nicky for working your magic, I can't even begin to tell you how much better I feel ♥️ Absolutely amazing, fabulous, can't wait to visit again!

My family and I have been spoilt clients of Nicky and her amazing team at Salon 10 for well over 10 years. Whether we have haircuts, colour or beauty treatments we have always experienced attentive, and friendly service with a smile and a very warm welcome. Nothing is ever too much trouble for Nicky and her staff. When my husband was too ill to attend the salon for treatment Nicky came to our house on a Sunday several times before he sadly passed away. I give Salon 10 and everyone involved 10 out of 10 without a doubt and recommend them highly.

There is something lovely about Salon Ten. They're welcoming, friendly. You feel looked after and pampered with a hot drink, a lovely mint choccie and a massage when they're washing your hair!! Worth a try if you're thinking about it.

I had a consultation at this salon and the experience was really relaxed and informative. The stylist was very friendly and helpful. The salon itself is lovely. I will definitely go again even though it is a little far from where Iive

I came into the salon to enquire about blonde highlights and a blow dry but I was put off immediately by Courtney’s grumpy and rude attitude on reception. However, Leanne was very polite and knowledgeable. I just didn’t appreciate the other member of staffs attitude as having not been to the salon before. Hence why I have taken my business to The Hair Gallery who did an absolutely amazing job.

I went to Salon 10 today for a wig , after trying online ones and was feeling very despondent. I needn't have worried as I was taken very good care of , offered a drink and was talked through each wig type and made to feel very comfortable. I came away with the exact wig I had been looking for and haven't taken it off all day - don't want to either and I never thought I'd say that. Thank you Nicky ❤

Lovely hair salon, Gabby was really nice. The visit was a relaxing experience. And happy with my hair .

My nan came for a consultation to have a hair piece, Tia was very complimentary and put my nan at ease! Even though she did not go forward with the hair piece, Tia gave my nan lots of recommendations to help with her hair, my nan left the salon feeling very happy with added confidence!xxx
