Studio E Hair

Studio e is very professional, friendly and creative. The space is cool and modern - and a real surprise as you step in. I arrive as a Senior Citizen (ha!) and leave looking and feeling 10 years younger. Courtney has a truck of getting exactly what I mean! Brilliant.

I had my hair done by Courtney and it looks amazing, she was very friendly and chatty and made me feel at ease. We talked at length as to what i exactly wanted. I will definitely be returning and will be asking for Courtney to do my hair again

Had my hair cut and styled by Kara, and ?Charlie washed my hair. Both very nice and friendly.£53 for cut and style and got an appointment very easilyUpdate: now £55 for cut and style. Had my hair cut by Beth this time who was also lovely.Also you get tea & biscuits too and your coat hung up which is a nice touch.

My favourite haircut to date. Everyone was welcoming and smiled, I was offered drinks, hot and cold, and was promptly made aware of a small delay with my appointment (No issue whatsoever). Beth was wonderful! She listened to what I wanted, cut my hair quickly and we had a lovely conversation. My hair looks great and I'll definitely be coming back!

Emily always does such a fantastic job with my hair. Never disappointed with the results. All the staff are friendly and polite. Highly recommend.

Have been useing this salon since opening. I have had Emily as my hair stylist for many years. I always have a great experiance. Hair always looks and feels great.. I have streaks every time. and a cut and blow drie.I can highly recomend Studio e.

I had my hair highlighted today and Beth did a fantastic job - 5* for her skills. The colour is beautiful and she took a lot of care throughout the process to ensure it looked amazing. I've knocked a star off, not because of Beth, but I feel the pricing is very confusing and difficult in the salon. Highlights are quoted 'from' a certain rate, as is the application of toner. I've never had this before in any salon I have visited - I have always known from the website or phone call the exact amount I would pay. I felt I had to almost negotiate the price and, had I gone for the whole head of highlights plus toner, it would have cost me £160 (and possibly more for a proper blow-dry), which is the most expensive rate I've seen yet in Oxford, and I have been to another very expensive salon before. To Beth's credit, she did the highlights so well, I didn't need the toner. I am delighted with her work - I just think the prices need to be more transparent.

I visited Studio E and had a full head of highlights. I must say this is the unfriendliest salon I have ever visited, Courtney did not say one thing to me throughout my service which was almost 3 hours. It was a very strange experience! Charley the apprentice was lovely, the senior staff should take a leaf out of her book! My colour isn’t great either!!! Really disappointed with my visit.I find the owner’s response incredibly patronising, I want to clarify her response as it sounds like this is my regular salon. I visited about 4/5 times before and during covid. I am not a regular client and the stylist I used years ago has left. The salon has since changed dramatically into an unfriendly and sterile environment!
