I’ve owned both a Santoku and Nakiri for some years now and they have been absolutely amazing. Dropped my knife roll and the tip snapped - emailed and received a reply immediately - posted my knife back and was fixed, refurbed and sent back all with 24 hours! Fantastic knives. I have been using one of their santoku knives now for two years on a daily basis for home cooking, other than a hone now and again the edge has held up perfectly. Very high quality craftsmanship with detail to excel an already faultless product.

I brought all my knives into the forgery as they had been well used over the years. They did an amazing job at realigning them and they were super sharp on return. They also did them very quickly too. Wonderful job, and would recommend them highly - lovely people.

Did the knife sharpening course here and I cannot recommend it more! It feels pricey at £50, but the patient artisan teacher takes you through each step of getting an excellent edge on your knife, starting with one of their own beautiful knives and guiding you to sharpen your own. Well worth spending a Sunday morning at!

Popped into the Forge last Friday, the team were working at full tilt producing beautiful knives for Christmas Orders. James still made time to welcome us in, talk about the different knives, offer advice and information. I will be purchasing a set in the New Year, so will update my review after I have had some time to use the knives. Its great to see a team of people producing something of such high quality/beauty that isn't spilling out of some big faceless production facility.
