Seated reasonably fast on a Thursday lunch time (not busy), ordered a carvery meal, the carvery seemed unprepared for people at 1pm, waited a bit and got food, beef was excellent, the veg however was a bit bland and reheated.One member of staff seemed a bit unfriendly and unhelpful at times, others were alright.Décor was bleak with dim lighting, seemed very stuffy.Overall alright food, service was good (bar 1 staff member) and atmosphere was quite.(Also, times are unstated on when the carvery is open)

A group of us eat monthly and enjoy the carvery available. The range of beer/lager is fine. A busy pub.

Excellent choice of food and drinks.All food was cooked to perfection and the waitress was very good.We were a party of 12. Some people had carvery and some didn't, yet all food was served at the same time, which was excellent.
