My family & I have been using Andrew Fletcher opticians for many years & have to say that they are the best around. The examinations are thorough & far exceed any other we have ever had elsewhere. Andrew's main focus is the health of your eyes which is why the examinations are so thorough. He then gives honest suggestions & solutions, drawing on his wealth of experience. They are definitely not a sales focused practice, unlike many others who just want a sale. We have experienced other opticians & can honestly say that the examinations received are not as thorough or in depth as what we have with Andrew. In addition to this the glasses that we have from Andrew are far superior in quality to any others. I would definitely recommend Andrew Fletcher opticians for those people who are looking for the best, most experienced & professional advice. We are always made to feel welcome & find all the staff friendly, polite & professional & always happy to have a chit chat.... Thankyou very much for caring, its much appreciated.

My son has been with Andrew Fletcher eye care for a number of years now and I can't fault their testing methods.The problem I have is with their service, 9 times out of 10 they are running late by atleast 20minutes, and when you've taken every care to get there on time and there isn't even an apology it's frustrating to say the least. Rude and arrogance seems to be quite common throughout the members of staff aside from one individual (unfortunately I didn't catch her name). You will be spoken to as though you are being told off by a headteacher at school, please and thank you's are hard to come by and there is no such thing as being polite.It's a real shame because I really do feel Andrew is very thorough when it comes to eye care, how perfect they could be if only they could work on their communication.

Andrew Fletcher opticians are the most professional and helpful eye specialist I have ever been too. I had a problem with my glasses recently and they were very helpful and supportive. I would recommend them most highly.

Cannot thank them enough for seeing me for an emergency appointment on Saturday morning when I had extreme eye pain and blurred vision - turned out to be a corneal abrasion. All of the staff were very very kind and accommodating. Would highly recommend the practice to anyone.

My Fathers vision in one of his eyes became very blurry during the lock-down. I called Andrew and discussed what had happened. He arranged for father to see him the next morning in an emergency and diagnosed that my fathers retina had partially collapsed. He referred my father to Manchester Eye Hospital and got him an appointment on the same day within a few hours as he required surgery. Andrew and his staff dealt with the situation very professionally and promptly. The practice was clean and covid-19 guidelines were adhered to.

My son took my wife to Andrew Fletcher Eyecare for an appointment with Andrew in early September. She was really pleased with the kind and caring way he treated her during the examination, explaining in detail what was required to improve her eyesight. The Covid safety measures taken at the premises were excellent and my wife and son felt completely safe throughout.

Arrogant and extortionateCharge £45 for eye test. Other private practices in bolton charge £19-25 and for a more through eye test and examinationJimmy chop glasses quote £310. Martin berry in farnworth for EXACT same glasses and thin lenses £164. Left practice after 8 years and so glad I did.

16th March 2017 - a second visit this month, this time to choose a new pair of frames following my previous visit for a periodic eye test. The investment in new technology remains at the cutting edge of ophthalmology which together with the outstanding approach to customer service and satisfaction is second to none. The level of knowledge and understanding of all members of staff to the importance of eyesight and the care thereof would be hard to find elsewhere. The courtesy shown to me, as a customer, during all my visits has been unequivocally professional and I would, without hesitation, recommend this practice to anyone who demands service of the highest order. Well done to the Fletcher family and staff for ensuring I always leave with a feeling of having been cared for !!!

Cant thank these guys enough. They saw me when no one else would regarding my potential detached retina symptoms. Sarah and Lucy were especially brilliant. Their care and professionalism was nothing short of brilliant!. Ive veen here before with my newly registered son and the team were fab then too and Andrew was excellent with my son.
