What can I say? The answer to the lack of a decent fishmonger in the city centre is here. Quality fresh fish, quality fresh shellfish, live crab and lobster, it’s a seafood lovers paradise! The staff are friendly helpful and enthusiastic about the products the guy who runs the fish thing is super nice, he will clean any fish you want, sort the lobsters and crabs if you don’t know how (and they do a good job they know what they are doing).I usually just get a lucky dip of something frozen from the Chinese supermarket at the front I don’t know what most of it is but if you want try something different it’s a good shout. Could not recommend this place anymore, absolutely concrete local shop for any local foodie or fish lover.

Bought 1KG mussels from here to make a special meal and they were the best mussels I’ve ever bought/had. Very affordable and great quality. Lovely ladies working here too - really friendly !
