I am surprised this place is open. I am surprised PGL is still trading at all?. Pgl is a mess. Food is disgusting and basic, wages low, working culture is toxic, management is clueless. You name it. Why would you go there and stay? If you think enjoyable is working like a slave with one day off for £500, then you should be shut down. I had a very bad experience with them and do not recommend them. Stay clear!

We absolutely loved our time at PGL Caythorpe Court. Everything about our stay was amazing the kids have said they want to come back as it was the best holiday they have ever had. We can't wait to come again!!!

Very good great place to visit. I went with me, my sister and my dad. It was very amazing1. FoodThe food was.... Edible. If you went on a 4 night break that we done you woukd arrive at Monday and have tea only. Tuesday wednesdat and Thursday has all 3 meals and friday had 2 meals some of the food was ok but some were... Questionabke. Breakfast was the same. No complaints. But it was only Thursday were I didn't eat much but it was solidActivities GOOD. Some of them are harnesses. Some in water and some just random things. During lunch you get an hour intermission until the next activity but that's the only time you really get in your room if you don't do the optional. Activities in lunch. All activities lasted 1 and a half hour. Was the perfect well balanced time! The activitys were all organised by the workers and all of them were great at high. Decent at low. Through all your activities(excluding water sports) you were in 1 group of about 11 people per group and there was 8 groups.Accomodation. For our room we had 1 bunk bed and 1 single. But other rooms were 2 bunk beds. The accomodations are separate to the school ones but the bunk bed beds. Mattress felt bad but the single bed for adults were better. They probobly buy the same mattress for the school trips. WiFi and signal was bad you had to get to the edge of the room to get any sort of signal. 3g at best! You get a bathroom to yourself and a door that Leeds to... NOTHING.The place itself is good. All activities are less than 2 munite walk away. It was not to big but not small like the activities were too small. Somtimes they had 2 groups at a time. Overall a lovely place to have a short break like we didI would come back just wish they would have food for younger children or that younger children would like. And beds more comfy. But I would definitely come back :)

Great activity centre for upper KS2 children. Great residential experience. Beautiful setting, great food.

i was here with my school a year or two ago. we did raft building and i was viciously PULLED off into the river by my friend. this isnt the bad thing. the instructor gave the people on the raft a rope so he could pull us in as we was pretty far out and the people who fell off grabbed on for dear life as they was pulled back. i didnt grab on in time. i was left STRANDED in the goose poo filled lake. a teacher of another group on the other side laughed at me with the children. i now need therapy

Went with a group of year 6 children for their 5 day residential. They loved it. All the PGL staff including the reception, dining room, group leaders and the activity leaders were friendly and very helpful. We stayed in the tents, whilst it was basic the teachers tents had everything we needed. Look forward to returning in the future

I absolutely loved my time here. Mu school goes here every year and I’ve already gone twice! The instructors were super kind, helpful and friendly. The activities were so fun and amazing! My favourites were probably kayaking and high ropes.The beds at my cabin was very comfortable and I had a lot of storage and a good, accessible bathroom. Thank you!!
