Southampton Central Railway Station
Large waiting area, complete with Pumpkin restaurant and toilets.The toilets accommodate men and women in the same space with separate cubicles. They were clean and private.

Busy station (I experienced both very busy and not busy at all), so might be tough to get through crowds. Doesn't help that the platforms are split into 2, 2a, 2b, 3, 3a, 3b so you have to differentiate between them.

Lifts were not working so we had to haul our luggage up and down several flights of stairs. No porters available. Maybe it was just the day we were there but most trains were running very delayed. I understand there was some sort of a strike happening which was probably affecting that.

I love all of the illuminated Timetables at the station. And onboard all of the trains. Coupled with the Public Announcement audio system. Even someone as half asleep as me can feel well catered for.All of the staff are super helpful and friendly.I didn't pay very much attention to the trains and stations when I was younger.I travelled mostly by private transport. So sadly I am a complete 'Johnny-come-lately' at most train stations.Nowadays the more time I spend travelling on public transport. The more I get to appreciate it.

Tidy station with a range of amenities connected to Platform 1. They include a micro WH Smiths and coffee shop serving Segafredo. Water fountain and abundant bike storage also under CCTV supervision on the platform.

At least the lift is repaired. Signage is terrible. There are two exits but only one is signed off the bridge. The lovely new concourse out the front is terrible for anyone with a visual impairment. No clear edge between road and pavement and when it rains there are puddles all over the pavement. Not impressed

Easy to commute to anyplace. All the transport facilities are available for commuting. Fast and secure services available here, this made me feel more welcomed

Southampton Central Railway Station
I spend alot of time dancing and singing at this place, but I've yet to make much more than just a couple of pound for an hour's work, more often than not train passengers just point and laugh at me, until the security guards remove me from that station.
