Took some things back today because they were the wrong make. Was directed into the showroom because the reception was undergoing a revamp. I was greeted by a man who had previously served me the day before. Explained the issue and he then directed be back to the warehouse where I thought they would offer the refund. This wasn't the case! I was then sent back into the showroom with the relevant paperwork for them to issue the credit back. I did ask this person where I could source the correct one, and in fairness he swung round in his chair and asked the lady... There was no response but she did roll her eyes and then the guy did go next door to ask. This very abrupt lady had to verify the paperwork to grant this refund. I've never witnessed before where a woman did not want to be in work. Her attitude was disgusting towards the public. This person clearly showed no passion or even any enthusiasm in her job. I would suggest that if the public was to use your buisness that they would be greeted and treated with some respect.

Very poor - called into get a quote for composite fencing. Obviously not used to dealing with small personal enquiries. Said they’d send a quote and never did.

As a DIY customer I am always apprehensive about going to stores that look like they cater more for the trade customer. On this occasion my local plumber advised on this company and said there would be display boards inside for the plastic trunking profiles to purchase to cover up pipes in a bathroom. I parked on the customer carpark, the showroom entrance was clearly marked. Inside on the left was the showroom and on the right what looked like a tool/fixings shop. In the showroom which was nicely laid out, I could not find what I was looking for, so stood waiting for the member of staff who was with a custonmer. He went into an open office a couple of times to talk to a colleague who could also see me. There was also a back office with another member of staff inside. But none of the 3 asked if I needed assistance nor if I minded waiting for assistance. After some time I went across the corridor to the other shop entrance. The man at the desk was just finishing up with a customer. He walked around me to a back office and back around me to his desk and never once asked if he could help. By this point I had seen something similar to the website on a board on the door. When I asked the man for the size I required he said he didnt know what was on the website and they only did the item in a smaller size. I felt like I was wasting his time and bought the size available. I picked up the item from the back warehouse. Only to find 2 vans parked across the customer carpark and the loading of other items onto the ground. Having been blocked in and acknowldeged by atleast 4 different men for quite some time I had to reverse across the carpark and down over a pavement onto the main road. I really do feel had I been a trade customer that I would have been treated differently. The customer service was pretty much non existent on this occasion.

5th time I have been there and they don't stock some products and weeks to order. Order the products I needed online with next day delivery. The biggest issue of this place is the staff they are miserable, they look and sound so unhappy. They are generally unhelpful and lazy. If I was the owner I would considering changing the staff I'm sure its not a good representation of the business. Different experience in other trade suppliers they can't happy you enough.

First class materials and very reasonably priced , sales staff are excellent and knowledgeable about the products . Delivery was excellent and prompt . Would highly recommend .

First class service - ordered a 5m length of gutter after office hours on Tuesday to be delivered to Devon. Received call on Wednesday morning to confirm order had been received and courier would deliver in 3-5 days. Item arrived on Thursday morning! Super service from friendly people and at a price that was half that of local suppliers. Particularly good for longer lengths of gutter that B&Q, Wickes etc simply can’t supply.

Recently purchased Silver Ash wall cladding, this product was quick and easy to use with a tongue and groove design. Can be cut using a Stanley knife or hacksaw.At night the spotlight bring out the wood grain effect in the panels.It has made our kitchen look bright and airy.Would recommend this product to anyone.Howard
