Tell lies to get you to bid then once you’ve purchased and paid apex change their minds. I have been a customer for nearly 10 years but will never use apex again.

Absolutely ridiculous, in 20+ years of buying machine tools and engineering equipment at auction, never have I had so much bother registering to bid. So much so I didn't bother wasting any further time attempting to do so.I can't fathom why anyone would sell their equipment via Apex when it would appear they actively turn away bidders.

Paid and travelled miles for an item that did not work. Time constraints meant that I could not view before bidding due to the distance. When collecting the item I was not given the chance to inspect it or see it working as it was loaded straight into my van. Apex will not take any steps to help recover any costs. The staff on the phone are actually quite rude and sarcastic. They say they are covered by their terms and conditions that you 'agree' to when registering - it is not reiterated on the collection details or on the invoice that if you buy this item there is nothing you can do to get your money back if there is an issue.They don't seem to go through any checks or processes to make sure the items being sold are in good condition/are working.Would not go anywhere near this auction again.

Bought an item on an auction, and arranged shipping for this item. My forwarder has now been at the pick up adress 5 times. Finally they agreed to hand him the item, which he has shipped to me. When the parcel arrives it is not what I bought at the auction though. Apex is not being very helpful. Apparently they don't run any checks on the customers they sell items for, since I have bought and paid an item that they will not give me..........

One star is to much for this company. I purchased items at a online action on the collection the the lorry was made wait all day for 20min loading job. The third party that loaded the good just charged very high fee. The whole process would put of dealing with apex. Unprofessional manner from the office staff and guy over the loading on site never again.
