Absolutely shocking service from start to finish !Very inexperienced, extremely expensive and it seemed I knew more about the tax system then the accountant I spent a lot of money on !I could go on but in a nutshell my tax bills were considerably higher than they had ever been before, schoolboy errors like for example making so many mistakes on my vat registration I was rejected from applying for vat ! On the third attempt I registered for vat myself.On top of this my accountants bills were double what I had paid in last 20 years in business.

My wife and I use Thobani accountants for our business and we were pleasantly surprised by their transparency having previous been scarred by inflated fees and nobody at hand to deal with our queries. They were very straight forward in their approach and their fees are very reasonable. Would most definitely recommend.

Trading for 7+ years? Well there is the first dishonest thing you will see from Alim; he qualified a couple of years ago!In the world of tax we are very naive and trusted Alim to act in our best interest and he assured us he would. This was our first mistake.The first year accounts he submitted he didn't allow for our car, which we use for the business. This resulted in us paying MORE in tax!Alim overcharged us on a number of things. I was charged £180 for a license fee (HMRC software is free!)I was charged £150 for Quickbooks that is £7 a month for the premium package (we are not that!) What was the extra £66 for?I paid £150 a month for payroll; a small company that didn't have staff nor did we take a wage from. What was that £150 doing each month?After paying Alim well over £1000 and not actually seeing what I was getting for my money I challenged him; he eventually accepted he had overcharged us and refunded us £800!Please DO NOT TRUST this man! If he does your accounts you might want to get a second opinion, just to be sure.Final thing....Natasha, his wife signed off our accounts, but we thought he was our accountant, not his wife. Don't think we even met her. Why is she signing them off?
