Great experience with an excellent guide. I'd highly, highly recommend these folks: friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and a lot of fun! We were a family of four and they took care of us and made sure the kids had a great time, too.

We were able to make a reservation just a couple of days in advance and were so glad we did! Our skipper, Johnny, was extremely knowledgeable and while he gave us a safe and comfortable tour, he was also lighthearted and clearly loving his work! It was an overcast day with a westerly wind, so we saw little marine wildlife, but Johnny made up for that by giving us an extensive tour of the migratory birds along the cliffs of Canna, as well as the seals and red deer. Canna was beautiful and we so enjoyed being on the water and hearing so much about local culture, wildlife, and history. The employees in the shop were also lovely and helpful. If I'm ever back on Skye I will make it a point to take another tour with AquaXplore.

We had a fantastic experience with Aqua Explorer!Tons of birds, including puffins are guaranteed to see, seals can be observed from a distance, but our highlight was seeing dolphins so close to the boat.Although they do not guarantee dolphins, but they make every effort to get the boat as close as possible to playful dolphins.One of the best ways to spend time, when you are up on the Isle of Skye!

Had a great day out on the Aqua Explorer, although they can’t of course guarantee wildlife we were super lucky to see a large pod of white sided dolphins, minke whale and a ton of sea birds. The guides are full of local knowledge and folk lore. A great way to spend a few hours.

What an incredible experience! Probably the best boat trip that I have ever been on. First of all the staff were so welcoming and on it giving the life jackets etc despite the mad rush. We went on trip 4 and for us as wildlife fanatics it was definitely the best choice for us! We saw everything imaginable- minke whale, porpoises, dolphins, seals, puffins and the highlight was most certainly the basking shark which I've always wanted to see! Definitely recommend to anyone and I will be back. Thankyou!

This was the best way to experience nature in Scotland. Our captain Dave was very informative and knowledgeable about all the wildlife. Would love to do it again if we had more time.

If there is one excursion that everyone should participate in on Skye, it’s this. Our guide Johnny was absolutely amazing! He was funny, smart, and clearly cared about this isle and her peoples. You could tell that for him, and the rest of the AquaXplore team, that this isn’t just a money making operation, but a means to showcase what makes Skye and the rest of the Hebrides so special. From puffins, to red deer, to porpoises, this was a truly amazing experience.

Had an awesome trip (Small Isles) with our skipper Douglas on the AquaXplore. With best wheather, Douglas found us three pods of Common Dolphins up close, following us and playing around the boat, large pod of porpoises, a minke whale in the distance, 3 white tail eagles and few seals on the shore. Too late in the season for puffins, but saw some other sea birds.Enjoyed the trip very much!All the best Douglas! Loved your commentary (knowledgeable AND funny).

The adventure started at 9 am. We drove on the atlantic with a speedboat. We smelled the salty water and the wind blew up our hair. We could see spectacular landscapes on Canna and Rum and puffins, dolphins, jellyfish, seals and dears. It was incredible.
