Belfast Roofing Services

I sent a message to them via their web page regarding some potential work, but got no response. I'm not sure how they expect to stay in business if they ignore people looking for their services.

ZERO STARS Review of Belfast Roofing Services (BRS).Main points: AWFUL, UNPROFESSIONAL, AVOID.The above reflects my personal experience of BRS (belfastroofingservices.co.uk) as a customer. I am not from a 'rival roofing company'.I was advised by a 'roofer' from BRS in February 2021 to get some repairs done to my roof and was told by the same 'roofer' that this would be done within two weeks. BRS never turned up. They never had the integrity to contact me and arrange a new date. But as the repairs were strongly recommended by a 'professional' 'roofer', I contacted them again. On no less than FIVE subsequent occasions they consistently failed to turn up. Avoid at all costs, complete cowboys. I paid them to replace the lead in a valley in my roof as it was leaking. Continued to leak after the repair. Getting in contact with them was nearly impossible even though the work was supposed to be guaranteed. They have not honoured the guarantee. They have ignored my phone calls, pretty sure they have blocked my number. Eventually had to get another roofer out. He inspected the roof and told me the lead hadn't been replaced and the repair was a complete botch. Showed me the lead he took of and it was old and broken.This company is owned by a cowboy called Tom smyth who has previous convictions for fraud. Google his name.

Have tried calling and leaving several messages with no reply

Avoid, complete cowboys, shoddy work, unprofessional.

Swift response and work carried out almost immediately.It will take some wet weather to see how successful the work to the chimney has been.I will report on that in due course.

Leo and his colleague were friendly prompt, polite and thorough in their work, they were out on the Friday to look at the roof and it was fixed by the following Wednesday. Have yet to wait on some heavy rain to test the repairs to the roof but very happy with the work they showed me so far.

Good quick work completed as promised with no mess. Agreed price and stuck to it. Had a few others quote the same job and these guys were head and shoulders above. 5/5

Recent dealings with this company left me (600£ cash) out of pocket for 45 minutes unsatisfactory work. I am in the process of involving Trading Standards NI to lodge an official complaint. A formal letter forwarded to the owner/General Manager has not been acknowledged. Be very very careful about employing this business. OAP aged 78

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!A bunch of cowboys. The suggested works didn't fix my issue I was having with the roof. They broke my gas meter box lid and didn't replace it, after 4 months of trying to contact them. No big deal, but you can pick these up the next day in Belfast, if you actually try to order one... the work completed didn't resolve my issue so tried contacting them multiple times, upwards of 25 times over 4 months. No answer. No reply to texts. Sent a letter to ask them to contact me - refused the delivery. Avoid like the plague. Would give zero stars if I could.
