Ordered from here twice and both times after an hour wait got a ‘your order has been cancelled as there are no delivery drivers’ text. Fair enough to happen once but both times is awful. Wouldn’t risk ordering.

Placed an order for delivery and did not receive what we had ordered, no chips were delivered and the cheeseburger had no sauce or salad. Even though we ordered over an hour before they closed it seems like they couldn't be bothered to cook chips for our order. Nobody answering the phone.

Had lunch before used to be pretty good but very disappointed with today's lunch The food was very greasy and the sausage was hard as nails and the chips were easily cooked more than once and the fish was well over cooked and very dry!!

My first time trying The Codfather in Cambridge today, first thing I noticed was the prices, rather expensive for a chip shop and for the area its located in which is largely social housing. A small chips was £2.50 but, I have to admit it wasn't that small, they were a bit soggy and fell apart as I picked them up, a plain jumbo sausage (catering style) was £2.50 and had definitely been sunning itself in the hot cabinet for quite a while, it was a bit burned and extremely dry. I also had a tub of curry sauce that was £2.00, it was ok but nothing great, just the stuff you but in powder form and rehydrate. All in all, not very good and definitely didn't stand up to quality of other chip shops in the Cambridge area. I think I will give this one a miss in future and drive the exta 10mins to one of the other ones across town.

This is the best fish and chips in Cambridge. I have eaten at all the others and this is by far the best. The batter is always nice and crispy and the fish is always fresh and flaky. The two brothers are friendly with a fantastic sense of humour. The quality of the food and the service is consistent you will never be disappointed. If you love fish and chips you’ll love this place. I do!

What a disappointing experience, both with food and customer service. We've ordered from here before and usually the food is lovely. But tonight was awful. Part of our order was wrong for starters, but when we cut into the cod" it didn't look right

Gave us haddock instead of cod (haddock is cheaper) and didn't deliver our drink. They were most unhelpful when contacted. The chips were good.

Great place to have fish and chips . Light batter with a good chinch of fish and a great service . Would return any day !
