Excellent service from Paul. Honest mechanic and really spends the time explaining what requires done.

After our usual garage was unable to take our car we found Farburn Motors online after posting a request on Who Can Fix My Car. Gordon an his team at Farburn were extremely helpful and friendly. He was very efficient and was the only garage to follow our post up with a phone call to explain what else the problem may be, and that if so it would cost less than his original quote. Gordon and his team provided a rescue pick-up service for my car very shortly after our initial phone call that same day. He was open and forthcoming about the potential issues and cost of everything - explaining everything really well. After a free diagnostics of the problem with my car (other garages had quoted up to £108 just to have a look and do nothing else!) he called us later that day with the final price - roughly £200 less than I had anticipated from his initial estimate and £400 less than other garage quotes! So, one day after my clutch broke and posting online, my car has been redelivered back to my house with a 1 year warranty on the parts/ work provided - reassuring me that the work is to a high standard. All in all: great work, friendly team, reliable people and the prices were more than reasonable. I trust Farburn Motors and will be using their services from now on.

What a great great service the wife and i have had from using farburn motors and after moving out to the country we still travel to use them when ever we need anything done, cant recommend the enough. Good price and a fantastic service from booking the cars in to the updates when ever i called.A good honest garage/ mechanic is hard to find these days.

Fit me in the same day, did diagnostics (not just assumption) and charged me less than half what other garages have (front brakes w/ pads, discs and sensor). Cannot recommend enough.

After 2 different mechanics tried, Farburn managed to fix my wing mirror with ease and efficiency AND at no cost, after I knocked it off whilst too close to a fence. Brilliant

MOTIn September last year I took my car to Farburn Motors in Dyce, Aberdeen for a MOT. I left the car with them and waited for them to call back regarding the repairs needed and cost. They called back and said unfortunately the cost was going to be £775. They explained that the cost was due to multiple reasons but the main reason was that the subframe was weak and needed welded which would be a large job and take several hours. This was fine we excepted this and paid as we were not mechanics and didn’t ask many more questions, as they had made it clear that if this was not done my car would fail the MOT and need to be sold or scrapped.Fast forward a year later another MOT, another garage. We asked if they too could see what work was done and if it was as costly as Farburn had charged us. To our shock the garage said that we were severely overcharged as the welded area was the size of a post stamp and wouldn’t of taken the hours of work Farburn had charged us for. They also reiterated that it possibly could of been cheaper to buy a new subframe for the car considering the fee they had charged us. Once hearing this we were angry and disappointed as we knew that the money we had spent on the MOT could of been put to better use considering i was a student nurse working through covid.

Recently had an MOT and I didn't know what they did but the car has been running smoother than when I drove it there. Booked online and got confirmation the same day and have been amazingly quick. Very thankful to the guys for doing such a good job.

Great garage, honest people. Stevie, one of the mechanics, was helpful in taking a couple of questions regarding some suspension related failures on my 3 series. Sorted the issues and free retest carried out quickly.

Booked an MOT late in the afternoon, dropped the car off that evening, got a call just after 8am the following morning to say it was complete, couple of minor issues to fix. Got a message not long later to say everything was done.Great service, good prices and how refreshing for the garage to actually phone and let you know the job is done.
