Paddleboard Maidenhead

We really enjoyed our trip on the most beautiful stretch of the Thames ( Cliveden) and totally peaceful at sunset .Phil our guide was really knowledgeable and well equipped . I was grateful for the loan of a waterproof jacket after my unintentional dip !! He sent us photos afterwards too so didn’t have to risk getting my phone out . Thank you again .Thoroughly recommend

Having a fabulous time with Paddleboard Maidenhead, learning how to stay on, safely use and most importantly, have fun on my paddleboard! Having done various sessions on our beautiful local stretch of the Thames (SUP starter, sunset paddle, rescue & safety skills and a leisure paddle) on the beautiful Thames, I am well and truly hooked. Tara and Phil - you are great instructors, with top equipment, great communication and such enthusiasm for all things paddleboard!

My husband and I had a great time paddleboarding with Tara this weekend - she was a very knowledgeable and reassuring guide, as well as just absolutely lovely. We brought our puppy along with us and after an initial splash he settled down into it and enjoyed the lesson with us. We'll definitely be getting more involved with some of the other sessions they offer at Paddleboard Maidenhead.

Great afternoon at Paddleboarding and of course with Tara as our guide.I love the ride on the River Thames, a good opportunity to improve my skills, to enjoy the area, and I feel so great afterward, physically and mentally.This time, my daughter and her partner came along, and it was a first for him.Tara took care of him to start with and during the ride and he had a great time. He will be back :)I had such great fun again. I just wonder why I don't do it more often.See you soon ;)

Tara was a fabulous instructor and gave us spot tips, guidance and enthusiasm whilst on the water with us all through the 2hr lesson.The content was perfect.Tara also took lots of photos for us.We had a great time.I'm hooked on paddleboarding.!

This weekend I was a student on the SUP Yoga Teacher Training Course. It is a fabulous course. I had wanted to do it for a few years, and it was so much better than I imagined. We have great weather – an added bonus. Tara is such a lovely and very knowledgeable teacher, her paddling and yoga skills are brilliant, her organisation of the days, the split between land and water based learning was great. Her reassurance and kindness in accommodating changes to my plans made me feel so welcome. The course is very practical and hands-on (well water on!) you really do learn as you paddle. I would definitely recommend this course, and Tara and the team at Paddleboard Maidenhead. I am excited to complete my remaining practice hours and hone my new skills. As well as the SUP yoga course they offer a SUP retreat day, a sunset/moonrise paddle and courses to learn new SUP skills. They are amazing at what they do! Thank you for a great course and weekend.

Our group (2 friends, 2 kids apiece) had the most amazing 2 hour session on the river with Tara and Phil. They made it very special, choosing this fabulous 'hidden' location for (some of) us to get our confidence up on the paddleboards and for the kids to lark about on and off the board, without ever compromising safety and always keeping a watchful eye over everyone.Tara was also incredibly generous in taking tons of photos and videos unprompted during the session on one of our phones, great to have captured so many amazing memories!Can't recommend highly enough - great instruction and tips, lovely instructors, superb location.
