We recently used Morningside Carpets and Flooring to get new Amtico Flooring fitted throughout the entire ground floor of our house. From initial contact we found them responsive throughout with Brad always coming back to us within hours of contacting them (one of the main reasons we selected them). The flooring was then fitted as planned to a high standard with a couple small snagging items then rapidly fixed and with no problem at all. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them based on my experience, high quality fitting, service and competitive pricing.

Offered to fit carpets at short notice when others were too busy. That was the plus. Unfortunately they didn't survey before quoting. Then had difficulty because of concrete floors. Took weeks to get this resolved. Carpets not properly stretched. Advised thick underlay then found the carpet wouldn't fit under the door but they couldn't sort out trimming the doors, so I had to sort that myself. Could not get door threshold to lie flat and claimed the concrete underneath was crumbly. Again had to sort myself, and there were no issues with the concrete, just needed a drill rather than a hammer. Carpet in one room doesn't lie flat because of lack of preparation. Initial estimate was competitive but it ended up costing more. Wish I'd just waited for a more reliable and established business.
