I was really enticed to come here for Sunday roast because of the feel from the website. Basque country chefs, family, bringing people together through food, warm vibe. But when we got there I didn't really feel that energy from the staff.The moment we walked in the host at the front seemed incredibly upset/depressed (perhaps she was having a bad day). The decor of the restaurant has a family feel. I just wish that the servers connected more, and potentially gave us little introduction of restaurant ethos, a simple have you been here before/is this your first time here" would really add to the experience.I don't drink wine

We hosted our corporate Christmas party at Sagardi this year and couldn't have been happier. The food was incredible, the atmosphere unbeatable and the service so attentive and accommodating. Definitely recommend hosting a corporate event here to anyone!

Excellent service , the team is super caring and looking after you properly! Suggestion were nice , and the team did make it for us the proper experience!Food, the main is the steak is a must and the cheese cake is something spectacular!Wine options by the glass quiet limited but overall experience was amazing I would definitely come back!Thank you to the beautiful waitress from Barcelona/Ecuador she did make our night unforgettable

As a local (basque) living in London it didn't feel like a basque experience.None of the waiters are basque or Spanish.-The cod biscay wasn't the real thing although fish was good.-txangurro donostiarra was ok but not worth the money.-txistorra OK but a bit weird served rolled. Tiny portion.-tuna belly was just two pintxos of tuna or ventresca.-service was very basic, interested in selling txuletas or sunday roast (this is a basque restaurant ) I mentioned I'm local but I guess they don't understand the food they are selling nor she interested.-all tables had cider glasses but it's not promoted in the menu, I ordered a bottle for 19 pounds...Overall ok but I wouldn't come again.

Top notch steak with an impressive and detailed wine list trending Spanish. Service impeccable. Only downside is it feels a bit like a bistro or hotel restaurant in terms of it layout / atmosphere. Still recommend this place

Couldn’t stop ordering the ham croquetas, creamy & delicious!! Excellent Txuleton, as you would expect.Pricey, but I knew it really…The guy from Valencia who looked after us was super nice

Really liked the rustic decor in here. The steak was beautifully cooked, the croquettes can't be missed, and as much as you'll want everything off of the menu, save yourself for dessert too. We went for the cheesecake and the chocolate, and both were absolutely perfect. The extensive wine list compliments the food so well so make sure you grab a bottle!

The meat was very chewy and not warm and the potato uncooked. The starters were nothing special and such croquetes one can find much better in any tapas bar. The dessert was ok. The service was very slow. We ordered dessert wine and it was served when we had almost finished with the dessert, although we asked the service many times to bring the wine. But pricey! There are much better steak houses in town. Not recommendable at all.

Overpriced, small portions, average flavour and bad attitude, the only positive was the decor. A group of 11 of us went to dinner for a birthday celebration, we spent a lot of money and it was disappointing. The food was very overpriced for the quality and quantity, for example we had 4 or 5 bitesized slices of steak each for about £42pp and each slice was one third fat - I've had better quality and a larger amount for less money at multiple other places in London so I definitely wouldn't recommend going here for steak. The steak pictured below was split between 5 people and cost us around £210 altogether as that was the size that was recommended to us to have alongside a portion of ribs each - most of it is fat and there were maybe 4 good pieces that aren't tiny and don't have any fat at all in the top right. The top left quarter of the photo was pretty much 100% fat and inedible. They didn't explain the steak very well because if I knew it'd be 30% fat I wouldn't have got it.The ribs tasted OK but the portion was very small. The oysters were great but you can't really go wrong with them. We couldn't get anyone's attention for over ten minutes despite the restaurant being half empty, the waiters forgot multiple dishes (a starter and two sides) and when asked it took another fifteen minutes to bring out by that point we had finished our food. A group of us got steak and we wanted it cooked different and they said they could bring it out medium rare and then cook some pieces more but when they brought it over they disappeared and we had to look around for someone to cook some of the pieces to medium which took a while even though they knew that's what we wanted to do.When one of us asked if they had any sauce for the wedges they gave us a dirty look and said they didn't have any sauce. When we asked if they do a birthday treat for our friend they condescendingly said oh so you're not getting desserts?". They constantly spoke to us as if we couldn't afford to eat there. They had a bad attitude at almost every point during our meal and when calculating the bill they didn't add our payments up properly saying we had £300 extra to pay when we didn't and they didn't take off the deposit at the end of the meal which we had to push for. It's safe to say we refused to pay service charge which they didn't even question

One of my favorite London meals. Had a steak which was delicious, paired with the red peppers was fantastic. Cider and wine pairings were excellent and the service was fantastic. Couldn’t have asked for a better dining experience.
