Feeling sad to give only one star, but feel that Timson deserves better. Been using the branch for many years, key cutting, shoe repairs was ok, passport photos - sadly not so good.Today popped in to ask a question and was met with total rudeness. The employee didn’t even listen to my question, was patronising and made every effort to make me look incompetent, all in front of other customers. I get that a person could’ve had a bad day, or maybe I was not the first person asking the same silly thing, but a simple blunt “no, we don’t do this here” would have been miles better than the unnecessary humiliating attitude.Btw, the very thing I was asking about was fixed within five minutes in another branch, later, so definitely not the company but person’s fault.

I would recommend Dave whom runs this shop to anyone! He’s a top bloke that is surgical with watch repairs and key cutting etc. I had him cut some keys for me recently and completely free of charge he fixed my watch which would’ve easily been £100 on the high street…. What a legend!

Really lovely staff who are always helpful. I had a nightmare with a broken car key this week and with no spare was really stuck! The guys got my key made up the same day and put my panicking to an end. Thank you

I walked into the shop with my mask on to get passport photos taken. I was about to take my mask off in preparation for the picture and was told by the assistant to keep my mask on. I assumed he meant for me to keep my mask on whilst taking the picture. Instead of explaining that I need to keep my mask on in the shop and only take it off when in the photo booth, he asked me if I would walk into a mammogram without my bra on. I do not know why I did not walk out, maybe shock that anyone would think it appropriate to use such an analogy to a customer.

The most unfriendly Timpsons associate you can imagine. Arrogant, rude, a shame this company keeps people like him. Wanted to get passport sized pictures, he shouted hey sit down, I'm asking where is the chair, answer is there is one chair only quite obvious. When we decided to walk away the guy shouts: Oy, where are you going? Avoid it at all costs

Fantastic service received this morning! Took my watch to be repaired and it was a tricky one due to the the link that broke. He was very knowledgeable about the ceramic watch strap and moved various links about to repair the watch - awesome job, grateful!

I went to this branch today at 12:45, to have the batteries of 2 Tissot watches replaced. The shop assistant was rude, since I entered the shop. I showed him the lifelong warranty and he said: I wish people show the warranty on the correct side

Worst customer service, very rude behaviour of the person working there, poor quality of the photo. When asked a doubt about the size of the visa photo, the shop assistant was rude saying “you have come here because I know it all” . He could have simply cleared the doubt. I was shocked and couldn’t respond. The quality of photo was so poor that we had to retake the visa photos else where. The photos were dark, no enough brightness and not clear. Pls avoid here so that you don’t waste your money.

About two weeks ago I had to watch links removed. Payed for those. I also had 2 belts cut. He cut them free of charge. Great service. Quick and easy.
