Lovely evening, one of the best steaks I’ve had, and the crumble certainly hit the spot! Thanks to Anna, Darren and the team, very welcoming and great service.

Food is always good but very disappointed that you can’t take your dog into the so called Resturant. This is the only pub that I have been into that don’t allow dogs in Very dissatisfied. Had to go and sit around in the bar in the darts room. Very cold and uni biting. I also want to say we were the only people eating in there.

Stopped here on our way home from New Forest for a lunch break. Unfortunately our motorhome decided to break down in their car park. They were very welcoming and understanding even though we were stuck there for nearly four hours waiting for recovery.Food was great and very reasonable, really enjoyed my Southern fried chicken burger. Owners, staff and other customers were all very friendly. Not a bad place to breakdown!Thank you all for being so patient and making a stressful situation much easier.

Great pub, friendly staff, large garden, great for a venue, we didn't have food on this occasion, but the food that was bought out whilst we were there looked good

Went for dinner last night, wow! Could hardly move afterwards we were so full! The size of the godfather burger is unbelievable and tastes absolutely amazing - definitely recommend this one for the ravenous!! Southern fried chicken burger was perfect! The homemade brownie and crumble was phenomenal, my husband couldn’t believe it was homemade!! This isn’t the first time we have eaten here and won’t be the last! The food here is consistently brilliant, you won’t be disappointed!

3 Stars based on a comfortable, welcoming establishment, good mix of music with very friendly staff and reasonable prices. First time visited as passing through Alton for a coke and to meet my son.Cant comment on food etc at this stage hence the 3 stars but we are going back and I am sure this rating will increase providing readers a better more accurate rating. We are lookfoward to our next visit, thank you The Queens Head.

Please explain how this setting is fair for this poor little creature. Not only it sits on cold stone, the cage and toy (a yellow ball and a box) are dirty. You clearly have a big garden, wouldn’t it be nicer for the rabbit to be sitting at least on the grass? I don’t understand why it’s so hard to look after the basic needs and at least some comfort for this furry friend. Please change rabbits setting, it’s not fair!!!!
