Wonderful staff - so helpful, welcoming and went out of their way to help.Clean rooms and a great breakfast and dinner.Free parking.Busy road so there's some noise but they offer ear plugs.Highly recommended.

This hotel restaurant, was busy with a good age and family mixture. The service and food choice was good as was the food staff were friendly and helpful would recommend it to all .

9 oct 23. Another five stars for my second visit. Anorher lunch with my friend and this time had hand battered haddock and absolutely fab chips. Definitely will be back.We had a lovely lunch, didn't want a full meal so had chefs chicken liver pate and then chocolate cheesecake to follow. A great cup of coffee too and I'm fussy about coffee but it was delicious

From the place I loved to go to, usually with excellent service and food, my visit last week with 2 guests fell short of great. Their dishes were lacking in substance. My salmon was fine tho the green vegs felt as if they'd been around a while. We were aware that the staff were looking harassed and maybe had too much pressure on them to provide a quick service. We hope it was a one-off.

Friendly pleasant helpful staff, good food and drink, prompt service.Room well furnished, but cold on arrival, heated up ok.Decor good, but desk in room looking scruffy, hole in staircase wall spoils appearance, overall good.Second visit and will return, would recommend.

We used to go here all the time, popped in for a quick drink, and sat for ages as they forgot about us! I eventually had to go and ask to be served ( it wasn't busy)My mother in law got a coffee that had to be changed as it was thar strong she couldn't drink it, their machine wasn't working.My husband had food, which looked good,maybe just an off day.
