I contacted Laura after a lot of research trying to find a Feline Behaviourist that was registered and would also work in conjunction with my vet. My vet didn’t know of one as he says they are hard to find.Winston was a 2020 lockdown cat I took in as a 14 week old kitten. Due to lack of visitors, noise sensitivity etc he had become very nervous and even a little withdrawn from us too which was sad to see him do. I also know stress can make cats ill and even be fatal.After a lot of detailed information taking, Laura organised 3 video calls and weekly telephone support calls.Within 24 hours of starting the first task Laura had set, Winston responded exactly how Laura suggested he hopefully would! It was amazing.We had 3 areas of concern, noises like the doorbell, new people visiting and car travel. Each were tackled in Laura’s order of priority and within the first couple of weeks, he was interacting and much more at ease. He’s relaxing more all the time although Laura explained it’s a long term plan, not a quick fix.As a dyslexic, lots of notes aren’t my best, so I sent weekly videos of our homework tasks which quickly showed where I the human needed tweaks!Laura is very easy to talk to, explains everything well and made me feel good that what I was doing was really helping Winston. He’s actually coming for cuddles now!I’d highly recommend Laura for her professional standards, great communication, flexibility to work with your understanding and definitely gets results. I know I can return anytime for assistance in the future.Cats need specialists and Laura definitely ticks that box .

Highly recommend Laura, we had some behavioural issues with our German Shepherd which was distressing to both my partner and I. Not only did Laura help with these issues she also was able to help with our communication to our vet. Without Laura's help we wouldn't have got the test with our vet for his allergies. The tools she has given us to work with our boy has made a huge difference in the way we interact with Paolo. Her patience while training us to interact with Paolo was so comforting. From her initial meeting with us she could tell us what she thought may be wrong with him and upon meeting us, she quickly assessed that he was in great discomfort. she then showed ways to make Paolo feel more relaxed with us and responsive to us. I can't thank you enough.

I was put in touch with Laura as I needed a behaviourist for my dog who had developed some difficult behaviours during lockdown. She listened to me, developed a clear plan, and we did weekly work with the techniques she taught me. Due to Covid this was all remote but was still very effective. When lockdown ended I actually looked at whether me and my dog could go do some in person sessions but alas too far. However I can not recommend Laura enough. She’s very knowledgeable and skilled and I’ve had significant improvements from my dog.

We joined Petmind's online puppy class during the lockdown. From the very beginning, even before the course started, Laura has been nothing but helpful. She gave us loads of great advice on how to introduce the puppy to our cat, then the course helped us to build a solid toolbox to train our wee doggie from scratch. I've found Laura's feedback on our videos very constructive and I would love to try the in-person classes once the restrictions are lifted!

Laura is amazing, she’s very nice and easy to feel comfortable around during face to face visits. Very knowledgeable and everything she taught me has been so useful and I notice some big differences with my dog. Very encouraging and it’s clear she cares a lot. I also really appreciate her saying that even though my follow up with her is over I can ask her for advice in the future if there’s anything that comes up and she wants to know how my dog is doing.Very glad she’s the one we chose to go to and grateful for all of her help. My dog is a GSD so it was also a bonus for us knowing she’d had experience with a reactive GSD, but I would recommend her to anyone.

Laura helped with our anxious Doberman girl. Laura’s experience, skills of assessment and organisation provided us with a better understanding of the behaviour of our dog, and we came to better appreciate and more positively manage the triggers of her anxious behaviour.One of the most valuable things we achieved was the realisation that our dog is not only a pet, but she has needs just as we humans do to have her emotional wellbeing considered. It is still work in progress here, but we are enjoying the rewards.If you think you have a need, it is without hesitation that I would recommend a consultation with Laura.

We were referred to Laura when our 2yr old cockapoo was very reactive and we wanted to know if it was aggression or fear before we neutered and potentially made the situation worse.Really worthwhile experience, we were taught how to give our dog choices, how to read his body language and much more. We continue to use these tools and have seen a marked change in his behaviour (and ours!) Highly recommend.

We contacted Laura because our flatcoated retriever, Nala, had become increasingly nervous around the house and began chasing, lunging and barking at cars. We wanted to help her but we just didn't know how. We had an initial video call with Laura followed by diary keeping, weekly phone calls and 3 one hour sessions. She was also always on hand for advice by email.Laura's programme is really well thought out and her methods are easy to understand and implement. She is so knowledgeable, approachable and supportive. Having seen Nala's (extensive!!) medical history, Laura suggested that she might also be suffering from allergies. Following blood tests, this was proven to be correct.We really enjoyed working with Laura and we are seeing the benefits in Nala's behaviour. She's so much more settled, she's more at peace around the house and she's less flighty around vehicles. Having experienced some unwanted and aggressive behaviour with our new puppy Hamish we were recommended Laura and what a god send she is.Hamish was showing resource guarding behaviour towards his food and food bowl and also unusual aggressive behaviour in the evening when tired. This behaviours did result in myself and husband being bitten.We were booked into to have a consultation however Laura responded to e-mails prior to our initial appointment and offered advice and options we could look at prior to her coming out to assess Hamish. I can’t thank her enough for this as I was extremely anxious and stressed by the situation.The consultation, calls and house visits were great. Laura was honest, patient and listened to our worries with no judgement. She thereafter offered us guidance and all of the training conducted was clear, small steps, breaking it down and making it easy to follow and to work with.We followed each step and any questions we had she answered quickly, offering us encouragement.With all the great work from Laura and ourselves we now have a wonderful little boy who has amazed us in so many ways with how far he has come.Laura taught us so much and we can’t recommend her enough.
