We employed Annabelle as a freelance coordinator for our wedding at the Sotterley Estate in September.I first met Annabelle at the beautiful setting of The Meadows, whilst on a search for our venue. We clicked straight away; she was so lovely, knowledgeable and experienced. Despite deciding to choose a different venue closer to home, I just knew I needed her!Annabelle’s attention to detail is incredible. I thought I was organised - I’ve got absolutely nothing on her! She understood our needs and wishes completely, and she was patient and accommodating when we changed our minds (frequently!).She immediately responded to my countless questions, panics, and dramas at all hours of the day. I don’t remember seeing ‘life coach and counsellor’ in our contract, but she soon became both!Annabelle also has great contacts throughout Suffolk and Norfolk which proved invaluable for our DIY wedding.I’d highly recommend Annabelle to anybody looking for a wedding coordinator. She’ll have your back every step of the way ☺️

Annabelle a.k.a. superwoman!We hired Annabelle as our freelance wedding coordinator for our wedding at a Norfolk DIY venue, and she was absolutely flawless from beginning to end. I cannot recommend her highly enough - if I could give 10 stars, I would!Planning a wedding at a DIY venue is very daunting, and there are so many unknowns that on the day, so many things have the potential to go wrong. However, from the moment we met Annabelle she put our minds at ease and was about 10 steps ahead of anything we thought of that could potentially crop up. Any questions we had, or any worries that arose in the lead up to the wedding, she answered in an instant with the reassurance of a friend we'd known for years. I loved that about Annabelle, she truly felt like a close friend throughout the whole experience!On the day, she could not do enough for us. She made sure we were in the right place at the right time, but always in the most lovely way. She ensured we had literally nothing to worry about, and dealt with the wide variety of suppliers we'd chosen so that we didn't have to think about a thing! She was even on hand to help our photographer in coordinating a smoke cannon photo that our photographer had not done before. She truly went above and beyond.As a bride, Annabelle sent me down the aisle with a huge smile and made sure my train was smooth before I made my way down - this was absolutely the reassurance and friendliness I needed to calm my nerves!Genuinely one of the loveliest people we have had the pleasure of meeting. From the moment we set foot on the grounds we fell in love with The Meadows. It was the perfect setting for our wedding reception. A blank canvas to get creative and really put your own mark on a special day.Annabelle and Andi were so attentive and helpful throughout the planning process and made sure our day ran smoothly. I never thought I’d meet anyone as organised and as much of a perfectionist as me until I met Annabelle. Every detail was covered which allowed us to sit back and enjoy our day.We feel so honoured to be the first wedding hosted at such a stunning venue. Our dreams really did come true!My husband and I, along with all our guests had the most magical day. We cannot thank you enough for making it happen. X x

We could not recommend The Meadows enough! It was the perfect venue for our wedding and we had many compliments from our guests. We chose to have our ceremony under the oak tree in Freddie’s Field which was just beautiful. We then chose to have our reception in giant tipis. We loved that there were different zones and areas to explore at the Meadows - all perfectly maintained and looked after!Annabelle was amazing from start to finish! She is very experienced in the wedding industry and this shines through as she guided us through the wedding process. Annabelle responded swiftly to emails and WhatsApp messages and what was really lovely was that she shared our enthusiasm and excitement for all things wedding.We loved that the Meadows was a bit of a blank canvas because this allowed us to create a personalised day that suited us both. It can be an intimidating thought but don’t let this put you off! Annabelle was there to help us as little or as much as we wanted. During the planning process we were given a list of recommended suppliers should you need any help on where to start. On the lead up to the big day we had a planning meeting too, Annabelle ensured that everything was thought about and planned for which really helped put our minds at ease.On the day, Annabelle worked behind the scenes to ensure that everything ran smoothly. The day went by perfectly!Highly recommend!!

If you are thinking of getting married at a Norfolk based wedding I would highly recommend you read the below.The Meadows absolutely delivered on providing us the best day ever. It literally was the best day of our lives. Not often do you look back and say that you wouldn’t change a thing but fortunately for us, this was one of those rare circumstances. Everything fell into place; it was the perfect day.If you are considering this venue, all I’ll say is pop down to the next open day so you can get a feel for it. Unlike a lot of places, you won’t feel pushed or sold to, you can then make your minds up if it’s the place for you.For us, Sophie began looking at venues and I must say, there are so many on offer in Norfolk its almost overwhelming. After seeing a few places, we realised what we wanted from our day and the Meadows ticked all of those boxes for us…Exclusivity – we wanted a private venue and wanted it all to ourselves to enjoy for the day/night.Annabelle (Meadows Director & Wedding Manager) – Genuinely one of the nicest people we've ’ve ever met – we had such an intimate wedding with only 50 guests and Annabelle felt like one of them! From the start of our wedding journey, the last thing we wanted was anyone ‘pushy’ or ‘salesy’, we just wanted good advice to help us create our perfect day. Annabelle brought everything together, helped us build on our ideas to make it unique and bespoke for us. Her experience and event management are second to none and she has an exceptional eye for detail. My best man is getting married this year and he really wanted Annabelle to run his day!Venue – we wanted different areas too build different parts/chapters of our day, i.e., the ceremony, the music/entertainment etc. The Meadows is set up for this and it worked so well. Moving from the ceremony to the other garden areas throughout the day.Value – the hire cost, which included Annabelle’s guidance seemed incredible value when compared to some of the other places on offer. We really felt like we got a great deal. Beyond the hire costs, I’ve always felt some of the drinks packages and deals at some other venues were/are overpriced. We were able to BYOB for the daytime before the evening bar opened. These were at standard pub rates, so this was great for us and all our guests – the last thing we wanted was hotel prices for extra pints!Tepees and Bell tents – this isn’t the only option for this venue, but it’s the route we went down. They looked absolutely stunning, and what I loved the most about it was it really made the day feel long, and we arranged a breakfast the following morning which was lovely. It didn’t go as fast as they say it would.It really is hard to put it all into words, but we honestly cannot thank Annabelle and The Meadows enough for everything they have done for us. It was an incredible wedding journey – if they’re still available in 10 years we’d love to go back for an anniversary party!Ryan & Sophie xxxx
