Recent Beans

Love this place. The smell of the beans roasting is one of my favourite aromas. These guys are passionate about coffee, and everything is priced really well, both the drinks and the beans. Lovely staff as well.

Fantastic coffee house. The staff Lucinda and James are very knowledgeable about their coffee. On the recommendation from Lucinda i tried the house blend, medium roast with the flavours of chocolate, toffee and blackcurrant. I am very hard to please when it comes to coffee but this coffee was the best i have tasted in along time. Glad i popped into today. Will definitely be returning.

Consistently 5 star visits every single time I go to Recent Beans to get my coffee.Lucinder is always on hand to answer any questions and have a natter about the coffee that's being sold, brewing methods, general conversation etc.The quality is consistent and I've never had a bad product. I'm very glad they opened this shop in Wakefield.

Absolutely delicious coffee, very well priced and tasty coffee. It’s nice that you can get a takeaway coffee from here now as well. All they need now is to buy up a cafe space!

I have been using Recent Beans for nearly 3 years now, the service is brilliant, you can tell the care, love and passion that is put in. More importantly than that the coffee selection is amazing, in scope and quality.One thing I need to add is that I have had to switch to decaf recently, and i spent ages searching for a decent Instant (to no avail) as our stock of the good stuff was used, then we switched to the Recent Beans decaf, all i can say is wow its amazing!!!So coffee lovers or decaf hunters this is the place for youI honestly can not recommend their service, there decaf or their other coffees enough

Went to the Wakefield branch this afternoon. We were met by Lucinda & James who were a delight to deal with. The staff are always very helpful & personable whenever we are in the shop. We were offered a coffee which we accepted. Where else in West Yorkshire would you receive excellent customer service from such lovely people and get delicious coffee? They are a credit to your wonderful business Barry.

Always a pleasure dripping into here and grabbing either a coffee to takeaway or a bag of beans for making coffee at home. Friendly, knowledgeable staff and good coffee. Not much more you can ask for!

Excellent coffee & amazing customer service. Barry goes above & beyond. The choice of beans is incredible. There is something for every taste. I now have a subscription, the quality of the beans and the price far outweighs any other online coffee sellers. Brilliant. Would highly recommend.
