Shakespeare Distillery Gin School

Absolutely amazing experience for a 50th birthday. The staff had a brilliant sense of humour and were knowledgeable and helpful. We laughed a lot and drank a lot. I would highly recommend. Thank you so much!

We had a wonderful time at the gin experience concocting our own gin . It was fun and educational with very friendly staff . Recommend you take a taxi as plenty of opportunity to sample the product . We now have to wait a fortnight to taste our creation at its best . Highly recommend this for a birthday treat .

Absolutely brilliant afternoon! Friendly, fun staff who are really passionate about sharing what they do with their visitors. It was interesting, so much fun making and naming our own gin and all packaged in a gift box to take home! We had such a fabulous time....would 100% recommend and would definitely go again!!

This was a Christmas present. The best Christmas pressie I've had. Absolutely fantastic experience. Both brothers (sorry forgot names must be gin) were very informative. Got to taste lots of different gins. Can't wait to taste our own gin (suggested to wait 2 weeks). It is a really good fun afternoon. Thoroughly recommend it.

The team are welcoming, helpful and and very friendly and I had a great experience at the gin school with my partner. Started with a welcome drink and a quick session about the history of gin, followed by a visit to the stills used for production. Then moved to the gin school. You're provided sufficient instruction and guidance to help you select a range of botanicals to include in your gin (juniper compulsory!). Hints are given as to the sort of quantities to use so you have a very good chance of ending up with something you can actually drink. You then name, bottle and label your product to take away with you. The trip ended with a tasting of their products - guaranteed to leave a smile plastered from ear to ear.

Absolutely brilliant few hours here. The gin making school was education and fun and really good value. As a family run business you get a real feel for their passion and knowledge. Highly recommended!

We had a great time! They are a knowledgeable and entertaining team, the gins are bang on and the whole experience was awesome. Leave your car at home though!
