Although the sales person was friendly and approachable, I was offered dates and deadlines that weren't meet and I had to chase it myself as the agent wouldn't get back to me as arranged previously. On the day of the car collection, I was given wrong information on my new vehicle and 4 people were showing me the car and still gave me wrong information. The car is not as advertised and I'm currently waiting on a reply as the heating is not working properly and the battery autonomy is by far, as advertised. There were minor scratches on a new car, there was at least a mat missing on the drivers side. People in general were nice but, I can't say it was up to the standards that you would expect from a Mercedes/Smart dealership.

There’s only the one complaint that I have is that the card for the satellite navigation is missing and should have been checked before I picked the car up. But in all fairness the salesman did offer to order a new one for me and forward on as a recorded delivery. The car was spotlessly clean and came with a full tank of petrol which I thought was a nice touch. I would entirely recommend Brighton Mercedes to my friends and family.

Hi, it was a mixed experience with a number of niggles. On the whole, communication from all sections was appalling with one or two exceptions. Communication with the Mercedes Breakdown Service was not good with several supposed pick up times promised and missed, wasting a lot of my time. I was offered a replacement car for 3 days only when it was known that he repair would take at least a week, which actually wasted even more time and wasn't really worth the effort. Apart from the video, communication from the dealership was also poor, with me having to chase on all occasions, and promised calls not occurring. Also the final price was greater han the quoted price which is not really acceptable.

Everything is always excellent at the portslade branch. The customer service is always first class (Sam) is so warm and welcoming. I love the video I get of my vehicle, it's so informative and interesting. Tom who did the MOT was great too. Highly professional and recommended. Thank you

Matthew Bray at Brighton offered a fantastic service, absolutely second to none. They had sold all the smart models and he went out of his way to let me sit in a pre-sold car to check it was big enough as I’m nearly 6ft tall.He gave me all the options available and found me a car there and then. He made the process incredibly simple, effortless and I felt well informed throughout. I couldn’t recommend Matt enough.

I was charged £165+VAT to update software on the car audio. This was because the software - provided by Smart - was no longer functioning properly. I have never heard of any other product provider charging customers for the shortcomings of their product. Frankly outrageous and I will be complaining formally.

Excellent service. I work for British Car Auctions at Blackbushe Airport and whilst in Brighton ordered a part for my Smart Passion. I was greeted with a very helpful receptionist and the part was ordered that day through parts department. Spoke with Graham in Parts who assured me that the part would be delivered to them to picked up in January. The whole team in Brighton dealt with me perfectly. Even with the 5 discount BCA discount.
