Very lovely stay, very good staff clean rooms.

Well appointed and spacious. The restaurant food is very good and the room comfy.

Used on a monthly basis for our car club meetings. Hotel provides personalised club menu and many attendees eat there prior to meeting start-up. On a separate tack, I've stayed there after attending a dinner function. Rooms are good quality and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent.

I was here for an event so I didn't see any of the rooms. The hotel is in an odd place but it's lovely inside and their food is excellent. I'll happily go again.

My friend and I visited here for a one day and night spa trip. The hotel was immaculately clean, the rooms and bathroom were nice and the beds comfy. The couple that run the place were absolutely lovely, nothing was too much hassle. We had a 3 course meal and the food was great, and it had a nice little bar. The spa was the main feature for us, it was so so lovely. Very clean and great facilities. We both had an hour Swedish massage and it was amazing. We both felt so relaxed. It really was such a treat to visit here, thank you for having us.

Just back from a week at this gem of a hotel... perfectly located in South Central Gorgeous Dorset. Hotel Manager Will and his partner Catherine could not have been more delightful nor any helpful.(and entertaining) I could go on but will keep this as short as possible ;-) The hotel was very empty which I loved. Great full English breakfast and nice dinner at the Kings Restaurant. I really loved going back after a busy day on the little roads and endless roundabouts to this peaceful Oasis. I travel often and I'm very picky so this hotel was up there as one of my favs...plus it was excellent value. Highly recommended ***** plus extra star for Will !!! PS Bartender and all staff were awesome :-)

We were made to feel welcome as soon as we stepped through the door. Having enjoyed the delicious freshly made cream tea we made full use of the spa with their large jacuzzi pool, steam room and sauna and massage chairs before receiving a relaxing massage. The evening meal was beautifully presented and very tasty. Breakfast was again well presented and served to our liking, not greasy and very filling. The staff ensured our stay was perfect.Would we stay again? YesThe only negative for us was the mattress was a little too firm but we appreciate that boils down to personal preference.

Went to the spa here and it was absolutely fabulous, nice and quiet with lovely treatment, would definitely go again
