I attended the Afro Hair 3 Day course taught by Kevin, it was such an engaging, informative and energy filled course! I feel like I learnt so much, so much knowledge to digest, so many new techniques to practise and a more confident feeling to hold when approaching styling. Kevin, thank you for your patience, you made it so easy to learn and process information, I feel with practice and experience I will be able to hone my styling skills.Thankyou so much to Kevin and Martin for creating such a welcoming and safe environment to learn. Absolutely loved my time on the Afro Hair styling course! Kevin & Martin were so welcoming & kind - I felt immediately comfortable in the group. Kevin took us through everything step by step with in depth conversation & demos - he was so patient & positive - this really showed through the ability of the class to pick up methods quickly. The wealth of knowledge I acquired was incredible for the three days & I truly enjoyed my time on the course! I completed the 3 day intensive course on afro texture styling at the studio and have come away with a new wealth of techniques, knowledge and understanding on working with textured hair. The studio has such a welcoming feel! Especially with Martin and Kevin who are immediately there to welcome you! With a class of 8 you really feel that you are seen and heard with any questions that you may have and it is encouraged to be a safe space. How Kevin teaches, it's clear to see his passion and years of experience come through working on every hair type, the days were jam packed with activities and kept very practical based once theory had been taught. The addition of working on a live model at the end of the course really was the icing on the cake!I look forward to taking part in another course at the academy! Now I feel that I have the confidence to put the lessons into practice on my clients/models. Thank you Kevin and Martin

I have completed this course on August 2023, I had been looking at this course for so long and finally got a change to do it. I was the best decision that I could have made, I absolutely loved it! Completed the Afro Hairstyling 3 day intensive course. Kevin and Martin were so sweet and so lovely at every moment. The vibes from the class were great as well. I have learnt so much on these three days, I had not touch afro hair and felt that I needed to change that. I love working with it, it is actually another world of hairstyling and I am so grateful great people like Kevin can teach us that. In addition to this, the course was very completed going through almost every technique and practicing a lot, which makes the difference. I would really recommend the academy if you want to expand your knowledge, I will be coming back for more courses! Thanks a lot to everyone there!

I attended the 3 day Afro hair course last week and from the moment I arrived both Martin and Kevin made everybody feel instantly at ease and welcomed.Kevin is beyond my expectations, he is kind and funny but so so generous with his time and knowledge and is incredibly good at teaching.I have learnt so much and am very grateful for the opportunity to learn from the best. I cant wait to practice, practice, practice and to put to good use all of the techniques and knowledge I now have. I had the most amazing 3 days during the Afro Hair:Texture Barbering course with Eph ‘The Barber’Before I attended Martin was on hand to help me prepare and created a welcoming safe space. Eph ensured everyone had the confidence we need to utilise the skills he shared with us.
