Mike is a fantastic coach. He's really friendly, knowledgeable and his skill level is insane. He's very observant, provides well thought out, personal, feedback, encouragement, and tips for improvement.The only downside is the sessions always seem too short! I always go home a better kayaker, with loads of things to practice.I can't recommend him enough, and I'm looking forward to our next session together.

Mike is not just about white water acrobatics. I am a Thames paddler and been to his rolling practice lessons. He goes through the basics again and again until you're coming up with less and less effort. It took a while with me but he is very patient and is always ready to move on to something more challenging when you’ve nailed it

I'd seen Mike coach a group of young people when I'd been paddling in same spot, and I'd been blown away by their bravery and progress in white water. I then did a few freestyle camps with him and made great gains in my paddling and confidence too. He has a relaxed style that means the paddling just feels super fun which is the perfect environment for me to learn in. He knows lots of little tricks to help you progress and create those 'ah ha' moments. I've definitely had some air punching buzzy sessions thanks to Mike.

Mike is incredible, loved being coached by him . He is patient and breaks down the challenges you have, and puts the solution together really well . Would recommend to everyone .

Mike is an excellent coach, who gives clear instructions, well-targeted instructions. I've done several group courses and some 1-2-1 sessions and would recommend him highly.

Amazing club with awsome paddlers. Was lead by Mike and his team on the water. Feel like they really got to know the whole group and created a relaxed atmosphere to help my paddling develop. Extremely encouraging and has a cornucopia of knowledge to share!Would highly recommend!

Had a fantastic time with LKS! Mike was a brilliant coach and delivered a really fun session. I learnt loads and can't wait for more paddling - can't recommend LKS highly enough!
