Joanna is a MAGICIAN! I hired a dress for my wedding from One Night Stand and I went in not knowing what I wanted or needed.Joanna was able to tell my size and what would fit me from her range within half a minute and challenged me to try on dresses I wouldn't have thought of. She was funny, warm and welcoming all the way through the experienc, putting me at ease and knowing when to be present and banter and when to be busy" and leave me to have a private moment with my mum. Very nice place to rent a very good dress for a special evening, it isn't that economic but it worths paying the price, wish they included the delivery of the dress with all the process to get it. The fitting is a very nice experience, you can go with somebody, there is a comfty couch, but you have to make an appointment first.I tried so many dresses, I picked the green one with a purse.

Rented a glorious floor length red gown and sparkly clutch for a black-tie wedding in Salzburg.Joanna has the most incredible Aladdin's cave of dresses and accessories in her Chelsea studio, with a huge variety of styles to try. She listened really well to my tastes and it wasn't awkward at all if I didn't think something was for me. The process was unrushed and relaxed.No problem that I needed to keep the dress for several days given I had to travel.Highly recommend and I'd come back for other formal events as I'm able to wear some really fun styles without committing to buying.

What an amazing experience!! I could have stayed for hours... It was like being a princess! Joanna listened carefully when I told her about my event and the sort of things I like to wear and then picked out a myriad of lovely lovely dresses! She is very clever, since I could have worn any of them. But the lovely black and yellow gown I ended up choosing genuinely made me feel like the Belle of the ball!! I have never had so many compliments. I cannot thank you (or recommend you!) enough Joanna!

I was very happy during the appointment - Jessy was kind and attentive. However, I paid extra money for my dress to be shortened but it was basically folded in such a way that my heels got stuck in the dress and I almost fell a couple of times during the event which was very embarrassing. Also I asked to try the dress again when I picked it up (the day before the event) so that I see whether it is shortened OK and if the bolero they picked for me matches the dress but I was told I can't do that as they have appointments. I said it's important for me and that I can wait and just do it between appointments but again I was 'told off' basically. Eventually, I needed to go back next day to the boutique to pick another bolero as the one given was not matching the dress well in my opinion. They gave me a lot of scarves and boleros to choose from which was great but I wasted so much time going forth and back to the boutique again which could have been saved if they had allowed me to just try the dress for 5-10 min when I was there to pick it up. And basically I opted for the renting service to save time...Also, I'm not sure that the dresses are such a high quality to deserve being rented for these prices - I didn't see any famous brands or designers on the labels, to be honest. Yes, they have a good variety of dresses, some great models indeed, but to me the service is a bit overpriced.

I went with my mum and grandmother to find dresses for a black tie party and Joanna was simply extraordinary. She has an incredible eye for what will suit your body, and she has the most wonderful collection of gowns for every shape and size! All three of us agreed we've never had a better dress shopping experience. She also has a wonderful collection of jewellery and accessories.

I used One Night Stand for my Somali wedding and it was an absolute pleasure. Joanna was great. I told her what sort of style I wanted and she had multiple dresses ready for me to try on at my fitting. I had so many compliments on the night. I'll definitely use Joanna's services again.

After many years of fretting over finding the right dress each and every time I had a gala dinner or ball to attend... I am so happy to have finally found One Night Stand. The entire process; from booking an appointment to selecting the right dress (not only for the event but also for my shape) went so smoothly. It does help that Joanna is clearly an expert in her field and showed her over 20 years of experience by knowing exactly which dresses to select for me to try on. I can sincerely say, I have worked with various stylists over the years, and Joanna by far exceeds the majority. My only wish is that I had discovered One Night Stand sooner. Perhaps my wardrobe would have a lot more room and my bank account by all means much happier! :)

I highly recommend this place! I ordered 2 dresses on line for a special charity ball, neither of them fit and plus I had to pay customs charges in addition and they were delivered late. So on the day I had nothing to wear! I called One night Stand in the morning, went for an appointment 1 hour later, and found the most stunning choice of dresses, and accessories! The dress I chose was an absolute perfect fit. The whole experience was fabulous, the ladies were lovely and it took the stress out of running around London trying to find a good dress. LOVE this place. Will be telling all my friends and using it again whenever I need a great dress!!!

I was looking for the perfect dress for my 1920s 40th birthday party and came across One Night Stand. I really enjoyed my appointment and Jess showed me some great options, but I immediately fell in love with one. Jess wanted me to feel confident in my choice and was encouraging and honest and not in any way a pushy sales person. She was even happy for me to go back and try the dress with my accessories to ensure the heel height and jewellery all went with it. Nothing was too much trouble.I couldn't have been more pleased, I have never worn a dress I loved as much, and received compliments all evening. I felt like a film star for the evening. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend One Night Stand, they have been absolutely amazing. If only I could do the whole thing again!
