L'Isola Buona
We bought 3 coffees, 3 pastries and a small packet of nougat. This all came to £34!! We asked for large coffee but it came in a tiny cup which by the time I was home (2 minutes) it was cold. The pastries were greasy and extremely spicy. Will not be visiting here again any time soon. Absolutely awful that a company doesn’t advertise the price and then charges you £6.25 for a pastry! Not happy

Beautiful food to eat in or take away or products to buy. We ate in. Fantastic fresh flat bread sandwich with artichoke etc fillings. Proper Italian coffee and filtered water. Served outside in CLEAN CROCKERY! always friendly service. A ray of sunshine in an industrial sea of lorries.

Newhaven’s best kept secret. Such a welcoming experience, knowledgeable and lovely owner. Food quality is outstanding, and coffee is traditionally Italian.

Really helpful lady in the shop, very knowledgeable on Italian food, how to cook it and what makes good food combinations, gave good useful advice, wasn't just trying to sell, but obviously wants to help customers buy what is best for them, and you can try before you buy. Great selection of good Italian food, reasonable prices. The shop has a small cafe, didn't have time to use it but the menu looked really good. Spent quite a while in the shop - first class retailer, much better than any supermarket.

lovely friendly place and a treasure trove of Sardinian delicacies. I was introduced and accompanied by a Sardinian friend. I bought cheeses, pasta sauce, wine, liqueurs including mirto, and so on. all very yummy stuff.

Such an extraordinary place to find. Daughter was buying something in Screwfix and we saw the chance of a cup of coffee, surprised at the quality and the specialist foods on offer, most of which I've never seen before.I think it's mainly a specialist shop, so if you need anything Sardinian (most things Mediterranean too) then worth a look, but it's also a lovely little café with seating!

An almost incongruous location for such a delightful and authentic Italian delicatessen. Great choice of imported 'local produce' from the old country; definitely worth repeat visits and they even have a cafe.

Oh this place is good ! Not what you'd expect in an industrial estate behind a screwfix..you get a tasty little chocolate along your coffee & a fantastic selection of cured meats, cheese,pasta, wine... this hidden, authentic Italian Deli is worth making a detour for.. the coffee is great too
