Steve is a great producer I have worked with in a long time. He really helps making artists feel comfortable when it comes to recording vocals and is really patient. I really trust his opinions and ideas he had when we worked together as he has lots of experience with producing and mastering music.

I recorded vocals for a couple of tracks with Steve and was really happy with the results. He is extremely competent and knowledgable, and is willing to share about has working process, which as a developing artist and aspiring self-producer I find really useful. Where do I start?! Steve's instrumentation, musicianship and production have taken my songs to a place I never imagined they could go. He NAILED exactly what I was after. The first time I heard the material he worked on for me I was blown away. It gave me goosebumps. Plus we worked remotely (me in Buenos Aires, Argentina) and it flowed as if we were in the same room. A true pleasure.

Steve is a natural. He completely got my style and the result is incredible. Steve wonderfully produced, mixed and played on 5 of my songs. They were all very different in style and needed someone with a broad set of references and musical skills. He's work flow is fast and productive but there is always space for being creative in the studio. Steve was invested in the songs all the way from start to finish. He really brought each one to life in its own way. I can highly recommend working with Steve.

I first approached Steve back in January 2021 for help with recording my debut album. From our initial conversation it became clear that this was someone who was extremely passionate about recording music, and we hit it off immediately, discussing the scale and scope of the project and bouncing around ideas of how to get started. Prior to this I had been making some bedroom recordings but until then I'd never managed to find a way to make my recordings sound professional.I had in mind from the outset that I wanted to create a 10 track album. It was therefore going to take a great deal of time and patience. I also wanted this to be a learning experience for me - Steve has taught me many things about recording in Ableton along the way. He was extremely accommodating with this: sometimes I would start working on something (with my limited understanding of Ableton) and we would re-do vocals and add other instruments in his studio, but for some tracks he was also more than happy to take the reins and record the whole thing together from scratch. He likes to experiment, so every track we worked on seemed fresh.We took it one track at a time, and each time we discussed the remit and treatment it would require. He prefers payment up front which I think is fair. He is extremely reliable and trustworthy and has always delivers on his word. He is creatively very adept and has contributed several parts, extra keyboard lines, synth layers, guitar licks and bass lines. He also has a fantastic list of contacts when it comes to session musicians. The session drummer he found for the album (Thom Mills) was truly out of this world! I was also able to bring some friends in to record cello and violin for one of the tracks. Steve jumped at the challenge.When it came to mixing, Steve was also on point. He was always happy to make revisions to the tracks after sending over a new mix. He is extremely generous with his time, and fair.10 tracks and 1 and a bit years later..(I was working full-time in Brighton at the time), I am proud to say I have my first full-length album recorded! I can safely say It was well worth it. I would recommend Steve, not only for people, like me with a larger project in mind and seeking to collaborate on production, but also for pretty much any kind of artist/songwriter/band who need just need help recording or mixing a track. Whatever it is you're after, Steve has you covered. Not only that, but he's also very funny and a pleasure to be around!

Steve mixed my entire album and went above and beyond to enhance and refine what I’d made. He works quickly and efficiently and took the time to understand where I was coming from musically, and boosted my records sonically with a sympathetic and tasteful ear.
