Artizan Training - Sewing Machine Repair Courses

Attended Lvl 1-4 5 day course on domestic machines. Alan has a wealth of knowledge to impart and does so in a very relaxed and informative way. I thoroughly enjoyed the week and look forward to putting this into practice in my new planned venture. I'll certainly be back in the future.

After finding myself out of business at the start of the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic, I decided to start a new business venture as a sewing machine repair and servicing engineer utilising a skill I had previously learned some 25 years ago in a previous career. It was then that I came across Artizan Training with whom I signed up to do the domestic lockstitch online course as a kind of 'refresher'. Their professionalism is second to none and the course content was easy to follow. All the modules were emailed to me along with an exam at the end of each module that also included a practical element to ensure I fully understood each module I finished. I completed the course and now have a fully functioning sewing machine repair and service business that is growing week on week. I can highly recommend Alan and the team to anyone wanting to launch a new venture in sewing machine rpairs. Already looking to see what additional training I can participate in 2021

I recently completed the Domestic Lockstitch repair course mechanical levels 1 to 4 with Alan Williams at Artizan training.I found Alan to be a very knowledgeable and patient teacher drawing on 45 years experience servicing and repairing domestic and commercial sewing machines.I enjoyed learning about the theory of sewing machines then getting plenty of practice working on several machines.Having completed the course I feel I now have a good grounding and having returned home have successfully started servicing and repairing sewing machines.Once I have built up my experience I intend to return to East Sussex to complete the industrial machine and overlocker courses in the near future.

I did the professional mechanics course with Artizan training 2 weeks ago and I thoroughly enjoyed the week and I wish I could do it all again. Alan is very professional and a great teacher being patient and attentive. With over 40 years experience his knowledge knows no bounds. The files and books he has supplied will be a fantastic resource going forward. I will be looking forward to doing the industrial machine and overlocker courses next year. Thanks Alan!

I have done level 1 and 2 course here with Alan and he is great with his level of knowledge and experience with all the different sewing machines.He is very patient with the learners and the course is very relaxed and doesn't feel rushed at all.I travelled all the way from west Cumbria to be able to learn about these sewing machines for my apprenticeship.I feel like I have gained a lot of knowledge and feel confident to start looking at the machines we got in the factory and start getting some of the knowledge into practice.I have definitely enjoyed it and could be back for the next level.Thanks again Alan for the great experience.

I attended courses at Artizan Training which I thoroughly enjoyed due to Alan's experience and wealth of knowledge that he manages to transfer to his students in a professional and friendly manner. This has enabled me to confidently help my customers and service their machines which has added another dimension to my own business.

Just completed the lvl 1-4 front loading and top loading sewing machine engineer course. Had a brilliant week so many laugh loads of information and experience shared would highly recommend if like myself you’re a technician in a school or looking for a new career. Will defiantly be back

Just completed industrial lockstitch and overlocker training with Artizan Training. Wasn't expecting to learn a great deal, as we were on a five day course. I couldn't have been so far wide of the mark, as I feel I have benefitted immensely from this course.Alan (tutor) is a fantastic teacher and excellent at putting his boundless knowledge across to myself and my colleagues.If you are a company looking to train your mechanics or a domestic sewing machine owner looking to maintain your own machine, you really should give Artizan Training a call.I made a 700 mile round trip to attend this course and would gladly undertake the same journey again.All the best for the future
