Mr Zaher Toumi - Weight Loss Surgery

I had surgery from mr Toumi in august this year and it’s been by far the best decision I have made. Since the start of my liver reducing diet I am nearly at 5 stone loss and can’t wait for the rest. My Toumi listens to your views , makes you feel at ease and him and his team are amazing right from the start. I highly recommend him to anyone considering changing your life for the better. My husband was due to go for a gastric balloon and contracted food poisoning just before his scheduled op date. Mr Toumi was great and rescheduled the op twice to make sure my husband was fit and well for the op.My husband went for the operation to insert an Orbera 365 balloon last week unfortunately Mr Toumi found a hiatus hernia 4cm inside his tummy.Mr Toumi decided not to go ahead with the insertion because it was too risky. He wrote up a report there and then to pass to his GP. Hp. He also gave some medication.We really could not fault Mr Toumi he has been so supportive and so attentive. He answers all of your questions and concerns. We can’t thank him enough. You are in safe hands with Mr Toumi.

Can't recommend Dr Toumi enough! He really cares about his patients and puts them at ease. You can tell he doesn't see you as just a number but really wants you to be ok. When surgery can be a stressful time then having someone like Dr Toumi performing it definitely makes you feel better!

I’m so pleased I chose Mr Toumi and his team for my surgery. I did a lot of research on weight loss procedure's and on the best surgeon for the job. Mr Toumi explained everything in great detail about each procedure and we agreed a gastric sleeve would be the best option for me. I had a gastric bypass a month ago now, from my first meeting with Mr toumi ,I knew I was in good hands. I cannot recommend Mr toumi and his team highly enough, even after just a month I feel more able to enjoy my life again .Mr toumi is very kind and considerate he genuinely cares about his patients I know this first hand .he made sure I knew I could contact him anytime with any problems or questions I might have . I have contacted him since my surgery only to say I feel great and how well I feel .

Mr Toumi and his team are an absolute boon to Spire Washington. From my first consultation with him to the moment I went under on the operating table to the weeks following my procedure he has been so attentive to my needs, no question is too small for him to answer, often replying to emails within a few hours. As for me I am currently 3 weeks post-op and 10kgs down. If you're looking for WLS in the North-East then look no further.

Mr Toumi made me feel at ease and ensured I knew all about my upcoming proceedure both via our Zoom consultation and at the hospital. He followed up with a phone call 2 days after I was discharged then with a check up at the clinic 4 weeks after. Though I had no need to contact him during my recovery I was confident he would have helped me in anyway.

From 1st consultation I felt at ease. Mr Toumi was very informative, professional & friendly. I felt totally at ease going ahead on 15th August. He was amazing pre & post surgery for my gastric sleeve. My scarring is hardly visible he positioned it so well (he must have know how vain I am) Since then I have lost half of my target & feel amazing. Thank you again
