We were very happy with the work Bumfords had done at our previous house in South Yorkshire and wanted them to do the replacement boiler & heating system in our new" (18th century) house near Matlock. Alex and the team were excellent, from the point of first contact to sign off. They installed a new, zoned heating system - including a new boiler, smart thermostats and a combination of underfloor heating and new radiators. It was a major piece of work (for us at least) made easier by clear and regular communication throughout. Without hesitation, I highly recommend Bumfords.

What an experience. I had Bomford’s install a new boiler, thermostat system and a maintenance issue on my water pipe.They were on time, clean, very professional and couldn’t do enough to make sure you were happy with their service.These are the people you what to turn up when you book a trade.What an experience. last week our old back boiler packed in from old age, we informed Bumfords who came out the next day and advised that we should have a combi boiler installed in the tank cupboard, and an electric fire put in the fire place. We thought we would have to wait without heating and hot water for about three to four weeks, but to our surprise we received a call on Friday saying they would be coming on the following Monday. On Monday the plumber and his lad started work, and by Tuesday afternoon had the heating and hot water up and running with all carpets back down and looking as if their had been no disruption at all, Had to return on Friday to install the electric fire but this was because they were waiting for the fire we had ordered. I cannot speak highly enough of Bumford or the craftsmen they sent to do the job.

Just had a new boiler (Worcester) supplied and installed by Bumfords.The price quoted was , I thought, goodMatt's team turned up on time (8am) on the scheduled date (29/06), later on in the morning another team turned up to help Matt. They all did an excellent job. The electrician came the next morning to do a wiring mod required for the boiler to run properly. He too did an excellent job.I am very pleased with the work done, the new boiler appears to run a lot quieter than the one it replaced (which was 28 years old).Bumfords is an excellent local (to Barnsley) company.I definitely recommend them to anyone considering using them

Installed new boiler and then new shower, everything was arranged on both occasions and work carried out on time by excellent professionals. More than satisfied with price and people who carried out the service. Would recommend this firm, please ask for information.

Bumfords recently installed an electric shower in a property I rent out. The overall service I found to be excellent. Craig the technician was very knowledgeable, did a first class job and left the site clean and tidy. I would certainly recommend.

Bumford's engineer, Craig, arrived at time agreed and completed whole job in timely manner. A key factor was to try to do the work without draining down the system (open vent system with h/w cylinder). Did excellent job and no mess created. Couldn't recommend more highly.
