We were visiting the Lighthouse which is right opposite the Inn, however we were too late and it was closed when we reached. We were famished and decided to go to the Pulpit Inn to get some food and we were not disappointed at all. The food was amazing, I had the vegetarian lasagne and my husband had an open chicken sandwich (can't remember exactly which one). Would definitely recommend!

Very nice room. Staff were accommodating. The room was very clean with everything available. Would recommend this B&B. Views are amazing. The lady who runs the bar was absolutely amazing. Break was was 5 stars. The views from breakfast area is beautiful. This Pub and B&B deserves more credit ! Ignore all the negative comments. Ohhh and to add they cater for Vegans which is a bonus !! Will be back

Had to put one star as zero not available. Ordered drinks and a soup for me and a chilli baked potato for my husband at the bar. Bar man friendly so I guess he can have the star. We waited half an hour to be delivered very luke warm soup. We were told the potato wasn’t ready so I politely asked to have my soup reheated and served with my husband’s meal. A few minutes later we were told there actually was no chilli. The land lady then came out and shouted at me there was nothing wrong with the soup. My husband disagreed and said he had tasted it. It was cold. I said I didn’t like her customer service. She really started yelling at that point. We got a refund from the barman and left. Don’t go here. It’s a lovely spot but a run down badly managed pub.

Very quiet for a Friday afternoon. Beers on tap was good. Plenty of outside seating.Unable to comment on the food as the kitchen was closed due to the chef failing to turn up for duty.

As a restaurant I would not recommend. We waited 40 minutes for frozen bad tasting food on a Saturday and it wasn’t even crowded. The burger I ordered had a texture like jello and tasted awful. If your there only for the drinks it’s an okay choice at most. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

Our room has been given to another couple because the manager on duty hasn’t got her phone on her. The manager was only there to clean the rooms and served food. She had nothing to do with the hotel bookings. She did not apologise and gave the impression that she didn’t care, we could like it or lump it. The other guest has gone to a wedding and weren’t contactable. We eventually excepted a twin room. The lock on the bedroom door was for an internal door like a bathroom. Using a 2P coin you could put it in the slot and open the door. The fixings for the bathroom mirror on the wall but there was no mirror. The boards at the bottom of the shower was missing. There are four sets of drawers all have different handles. Inside the drawers had paint spray in them where they had been painted and smelt damp. One of the sets of drawers had the curtain pole fixings and the second had the curtains in. The curtain poles were by the side of the wardrobe. We push the two single beds together and they were different heights. The TV remote had no back on the battery cover. We had 1 teaspoon to share between two of us.We were offered a free meal and drinks to the value of £55 to compensate.

This pub could be making a killing where it'd located.Won't be going back after visiting today.Bad entry for wheelchairs, over gravel & weeds. Not made to feel welcome when you get in pub. Looks like something is missing so empty looking. Didn't feel like eating there once we got in there. Won't be going back or recommending it to anyone. Can't give this pub any stars

Very disappointed with the food served to us. Burgers texture and taste to the meat, not freshly made, too greasy,no side salad. Had to get our own knives and forks and condiments. When there is a pub situated in a tourist hotspot with an empty carpark over lunchtime, think why is that?

Called in by chance. First two options were off, settled on Brie and bacon sandwich with cranberries. Well presented with a good salad and crisps. The building remains open despite an end of season deep clean and decoration programme. Slightly surreal feel, but food was good value for money.
