Watatunga Wildlife Reserve

An absolutely brilliant afternoon. Paid for a golf buggy, which you only share with your party and drive yourself. Travel in convoy around the site seeing many deer, antelope and birdlife. I would say the best activity offered in the Norfolk and Suffolk area.

Went on a 3-hour evening photo safari. Absolutely brilliant - not only we did see so many of the animals up close up and personal, it was a privilege to be guided by Julian who is so knowledgeable about his animals and conservation. A really memorable experience I'd recommend to anyone (even without a camera).

Great afternoon out, went in 2 buggy’s that were very fun to drive. The animals were few and far between, but perhaps this added to the excitement of finally seeing some. Hoping that eventually as the reserve grows there will be more around.A toilet stop and an opportunity to stretch your legs half way at the bird lake would be a nice touch, especially if venturing out with kids.The staff were very friendly and explained everything well, the tour guide was kind and took extra time to explain things to the kids.

Thoroughly enjoyable day, had by us all. Staff were very helpful, they made you feel welcome. They were extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the animals in there care. Would highly recommend and will visit again in the near future. Well done Watatunga.

We had a wonderful afternoon spotting deer, antelope, ducks and cranes. Our tour guide Miranda was excellent: knowledgeable, enthusiastic and good fun. Thank you!

Short family trip with kids… as my wife booked this I completely underestimated how brilliant this tour was. The land scape and the animals was really great. And to do the tour in soggy mud driving a great quality golf buggy added to the event with no issues.The tour guide was amazing would really recommend this to anyone in the area especially if your staying so close at somewhere like Hays Wood Retreat where we travelled from only few mins away

An excellent trailer tour with my parents and my two kids (9/5). The dedication to conservation was very impressive and the depth of knowledge of the staff was brilliant and a real inspiration for my children.The day was rather warm in the afternoon and we had sun cream and hats which was a must in the open top trailer. There are covered trailers that are also available.When we head up next we will definitely be booking a 6 seater buggy to self drive as they looked brilliant!We ended up with a 2 hour tour and the value for money was excellent, that includes the gift shop, my son is loving his Watatunga T-Shirt and daughter has added their pens and pencils to her collection.A must visit for locals and tourists!!

Found this place via a leaflet in Hunstanton. It is truly amazing!!! The people who run this are friendly, knowledgeable, and very welcoming. The tour is so good!!! I visited with my 3 boys and it didn't disappoint. One of the best places to visit in the UK.

Went today with my son and partner and what an awesome place it is, didn't realise we had something this good local would definitely recommend to anyone who likes nature and what a great place it is for the animals that are there also completely different to a zoo in a good way.
